I'm not so much envious of the bush as we have a few here, but I'm soooo green with envy that you have raspberries to pick. The birds have feasted on ours. Not a berry in sight:mad:. We managed to salvage a few cherries but the plants are still young so there wasn't much of a crop to start with anyway.

    [STRIKE]- dishwasher on [/STRIKE]done

[STRIKE]- washing machine on[/STRIKE] not needed today!

    - antkiller

    - weedkiller
    [STRIKE]
    - clear pathway to shed for labourer[/STRIKE] any Man That Can will need to use the downstairs bathroom, unfit to be seen by other humans - three quarters cleaned :j

    - organise my "medicine chest"
    [STRIKE]
    - post cat blog [/STRIKE]done

    - send birthday cards

    - put shopping away

[STRIKE]- pick raspberries :D [/STRIKE]Ah! Now I know why raspberry bushes sit alone and mulched :o snails have eaten all but five, and they're hanging off the leaves right now :o

To compensate, I went off cherry picking, *actual* cherries, like CBC above - I can tell you that cherries make a good fake tan lotion :rotfl: and that I have two thirds of a sandwich box of stoned cherries in the freezer. And I know a lot more about how to stone cherries without making myself filthy dirty :D

I love cherries - made some jam last years with some off MILs tree.

Hope to repeat the exercise this year if I've got a kitchen!

Morning! I'm off to my sister's tomorrow, so I'm looking at my existing list from yesterday, to finish off today:
    - just finished my "medicine chest", now dust-free and will stay that way :)
    - never sent the birthday cards :( got distracted by how best to use up the stamps I liberated from storage: 19p, 25p, 37p, and on and on it goes :o ... I'm not sure the ones that show 10.5p etc (i.e. a halfpenny, and yes they're post-decimal :D ) are legal, since a halfpenny isn't legal tender any more. Not a huge number, so no big deal, but how to combine them, even discounting the ha'pennies, is a lot for my brain to handle on a weekend :D

Otherwise, its pruning and weeding on the path to the shed - can't get the Man That Can in next week, too much going on, but at least I can get it ready for him, and keep it from getting overgrown again :j

ETA https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4752291 see how wonderful mse is :j the discussion is already on here. Slightly inconclusive about whether the ha'pennies add up, so I'm going to use the stamps, but ignore the ha'penny. Will "cost" me about 4p, so I don't actually care :rotfl:
