Think of it as a "lump sum" for your retirement.

Good summary of the situation :) it will mean working and not much else. So it goes, not long now.

At least I got a full cat blog written, though not posted. And I've found out the magic formula for not-having-to-fiddle-around-with-photo-alignment, which is very time-saving :j

Just done a yougov survey - 100 points! It started out on tv channels. 2655 points now :j

Right, 1.5 hours work, plus a meeting with my business partner, finally  I really hope it goes well. I'd love to do some gardening, but there's a lot of the wet stuff about ...

Hope everyone has a good day :j:money:

Is your meeting a farewell to arms of sorts, or just a regular sort of meeting? :)

Ooh, good question! It's a mix, actually - individual clients, as usual, plus the nitty gritty of retirement: when do I take my details down from the website (er, 26th August!), the wording of where I've gone (people come back after years away), how long does he want to keep the website going (the domain runs out next year, not that he'll know what that means :D) and I need his summer holiday dates to make sure I don't say "just talk to him" when he's off lollygagging somewhere :)

I really hope we don't spend more than about two minutes, if that, on the unpleasantness of a few months ago. I may try to show him the Scottish wedding photos instead :j

Hopefully your meeting is productive today

I found the run up to retirement quite manic at work.

It's like going on holiday when you want to tie up loose ends, multiplied by 100!

But boy, is it worth it!
