Hello MCI! Yep, the wedding was very lovely, I was so glad I was able to get there.

I'm a bit beside myself at the moment :(
    - first stressful phone call - went well, thats good!
    - second stressful phone call - went badly. No idea how that will turn out :(
    - third stressful phone call (to 123reg) seems to have gone well, but promised immediate follow up email hasn't yet happened. Demanded a refund for money they've taken for a domain I cancelled, amongst other problems. We'll see. I'll take a photo of my"outgoing calls" on my phone and send it to them in case they don't do my refund, their systems seem to be appalling ...
    - got to do a tricky email, a personal one this time, heaven only knows how that will go. Lifechanging.
    - omigod, just realised Sainsbo are delivering this afternoon. I'd rather go hungry than deal with that, but too late to cancel.
    - tricky phone call needed this evening too. Maybe I should start drinking red wine again? That might help ...

  • Sounds like a very daunting few hours ahead, KC. Sending hugs your way.

I've often found that actually doing the thing that in prospect is worrying and stressing us never turns out to be anything like as bad in reality. I hope that's true for you today:A

Oh yes, red wine! I'll drink to that:beer:

Hope day is going well and not as stressful as it seemed
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Hello all :) yep, you lovely people were right, the "future events" of that list, the ones that I've done anyway :D weren't quite as bad:

    - first stressful phone call - went well, thats good!

    - second stressful phone call - went badly. No idea how that will turn out :(Same, no movement.

    - third stressful phone call (to 123reg) seems to have gone well, but promised immediate follow up email hasn't yet happened. Demanded a refund for money they've taken for a domain I cancelled, amongst other problems. This one's gone jolly well: refund has happened, confirmed by paypal, and nominet have confirmed the not-being-renewed. I'm impressed with that speed, I must say.

    - got to do a tricky email, a personal one this time, heaven only knows how that will go. Lifechanging. Not done yet :o

    - omigod, just realised Sainsbo are delivering this afternoon. I'd rather go hungry than deal with that, but too late to cancel. Delivered, as are all those nuts and seeds I ordered at the same time from Healthy Supplies. Its all just sitting in the hall at the moment :o

    - tricky phone call needed this evening too. Maybe I should start drinking red wine again? That might help ... This one's still to come. As per normal for me, I'm loving the idea of having a glass of red wine in the evening, but on approach to the evening, my taste buds miraculously change to wanting a cup of tea. Possibly my habits in my 20s can be construed as aversive conditioning :D nice and cheap now, anyway :D

Earthgirl, sorry to hear that, hope things have improved. I still haven't done the tricky personal email, I'd actually opened the email website to start it and my by-now-normal-emergency started up :( so nothing done yet, very frustrating. Need to do a tricky work email too.

I have over 3 hours of client work today, and so this week will definitely be well in the profit zone, but a lot of it is also at a very small-for-my-work hourly rate, so not nearly as much as it could be.

Trying to find the positives! It's cooler, I'm not in as much pain, and I've cut nearly all the grass. There you go :)

Good morning :) I got through yesterday, even though I missed out on going for a walk. Still, late at night I was having fun (no, not that sort of fun :D) working on the Norway section of the 1976 book :rotfl: I've always remembered all the voluntary work I did as a teenager, and thought I was quite nice :D nope, not so much :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: talk about self obsessed. Of course, thats a diary, just like this is, so maybe my 21 year old self can be forgiven.

Right, today is about doing the banking, which has once again been abandoned for ages :o having a mooch about town, and generally sorting things out here. I have a 3 day weekend, which I'm going to protect ferociously :p so it should be great :j
