  • I'd like to add my congratulations about your book too, KC. I'm sure it will just be the start of a profitable and fulfilling retirement

What a glorious morning it is here:j. I had to scrape a little soft ice from my car windscreen when I went to Morrison's at 7 but everything has warmed up slightly now. There's a clear blue sky, blossom on so many trees and all sorts of colourful birds swooping around. All's well with the world (for now anyway;)).

I hope life's events aren't stressing you out too much, KC, and you can find some quality 'me' time. Enjoy your long weekend everyone:beer:

Thanks CBC! I've noticed I'm often writing quite late at night, after a long dip in the afternoon when I do nothing - possibly a siesta might really suit me :D

And I'm working hard at *not* being stressed, ta muchly :kisses3: so I've got a nicely cheap supermarket delivery planned (£1, I love it) and I'm about to have Second Breakfast - that always helps :j I'm glad you can still see the good things in your life too, CBC, it always helps, doesn't it. And, as you say, lots of quality me time :D

Yay adding congratulations for book sales. Onwards and upwards :j
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Earthgirl - yep, I think its something that happens to us all at one time or another - we've got to work hard at keeping on top of things, and for me right now, that means self care :)

Watty - thank you! Apparently Amaz0n Assoc also owe me tuppence ha'penny, so I have to tell *them* my bank details too. Weird - this will be the third division of Amz to get them. I really, really hope they're secure!

Been out in the garden shifting cherry laurel, as well as grass and baby sycamores in the borders. A bit more decking is free and clear of rubbish :) Tea was drunk. Blue tits and clouds were photographed. It was lovely.

Morning! I'm trying not to look at mse diaries until later on, preferably late afternoon, as the morning is time when I need to be doing errands and plotting the future :D This is week 17 in the countdown, as well as the wedding at the end of May, and I refuse to let the chaos from the decluttering continue for any longer than this month. It's *good* chaos - organising, centralising, getting rid, filing, a pile of stuff to be shredded, starting to collect the bits and bobs for the wedding so that I'm not rushing (I have a bad habit of not packing till about midnight the night before, and that won't do this time).

Paid work only starts, on the phone, at 3pm, tho I have a supermarket delivery at 1pm. Until then, amongst rest periods, its phone calls and emails, follow ups and dental appointments and assorted blather. Plus pegging out the washing :j its a lovely sunny day.

I hope all's well for all.

Thank you beanie, much appreciated :)

I'm just getting to the end of one section, going to have a rest after this, but I need to grin and bear it for another five minutes or so :D

I haven't done all the errands I thought I'd do, but I'm on the way, and I've been busy since I posted, thats all anyone can do, really.

I'm so happy that so much paper is going to be leaving my house - I've realised how unpleasant an atmosphere it creates, for me, anyway.

Well done on all the decluttering.

Might pick your brains about the Amazon book thing - my Mum is currently writing a book (long story - but it's a follow up to couple my Dad wrote years ago) and I was wondering about self publishing - probably won't be for a while, but if I can come back to you that would be great.

With you on the decluttering chaos - when I was in the middle of it, I found it got worse before it got better. But the end result was most definitely worth it.

I also agree about paper - it gives me a lot of enjoyment, putting a pile of paper in the recycling box. Even though I make every effort to keep it down, it builds up again very quickly, if I'm not careful

I try to get a packing list started a few weeks before I go away - it's my worst nightmare, to be packing at the last minute!
