That looks a seriously good model, rtandon. Certainly something I'd like to own:j. Couldn't find a 'green with envy' smiley.
Ours are pretty old now, I'm sure efficiency has been greatly improved since they were made. They still work but the water tank doesn't hold much. Not designed for a house this size with raging damp everywhere:eek:. Maybe one per room might be OK:A0 -
This is the one I bought for a BTL:

Potentially a lot cheaper than getting a builder in. Where exactly is the mould - can you see an obvious or potential cause? Or do you think the cause is cured, in which case it just needs the infrastructure drying out?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Thanks for this - yep, the cause is cured, Gally, it was the damaged pointing on the weatherward wall, it totally collapsed under the rainstorms of the winter before last. Some more pointing needs to be done, and repair to the plasterwork in a few places - damned if I'm getting whole house re-plastering
but it not only sounds hollow, its bubbled in some places  such is life
Interesting morning! You know the publicity emails that Amazon sends out everyday? I'm signed up to the kindle ones, I don't really know why ... but my little book is in the one I got this morning :j and I didn't *buy* that spot, either! Tres chuffed :j
Bliss to have my living room so tidy - had to be done when my business partner came along on Tuesday, and it makes such a difference to what its like to be in therePlus, I'm not throwing up anymore
so that's nice
All in all, I'm looking forward to the weekend, bit more work today, and I'm good

Hi Tilly
no sweat, I'm feeling fine today thank you, tho my legs are a bit leaden :rotfl: but it definitely affected all moneysaving and moneycreating efforts, which is why I put it in originally
My to-do list this week has taken a real beatingin the sense that I haven't done anything since Monday
as well as the personal bits and bobs that are always there, talktalk, ee, santander, totespxxxt and the sunkettle replacement (which arrived, but I haven't been able to open it and then send the original back) all have to be dealt with. So it goes. Next week, and elance job applications too.

Our BTL property has been identified as having a mould issue. I immediately thought of you
Tennant doesn't want to do anything about it! I think an extractor fan in bathroom would help but hey ho! Not sure I can force them to dealt with it
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0
