In that £7k figure, I've allowed a fiver a week average for books I write and affiliate stuff on the main blog (tho I've yet to actually set up the affiliate stuff, grrr). I don't think its very much, but I couldn't do the other writing/proofreading etc, if I wasn't also writing about interesting stuff.
Keep on with it, refining the idea of what you can do - on Millionaire or on here. Keep going
SF - just seen your sig properly! The baby's really on the way nowAwww :j

Interesting stuff KC! I think I must have half read this on the train earlier and that's what's got me thinking about extra income streams :rotfl:
(I'm tired though - I confess I spent quite a long time trying to work out how £12 a day added up to £83 a month...:rotfl: )

Aw, Cheery, it's late!
You know, the first time I ever heard about income streams was you and The Patchwork Fund, a fountain of joy and "I think I'll work on **this** today", it was great! And as I've got less client work, I've sort of stumbled into it myselfGetting a bit serious about it now tho - mixing up Getting Things Done with it as well

Aw, thanks
Yes, the Patchwork Fund :j :j Love the idea and I used to have a pretty patchwork life - it's just now it's expanded to be rather more of a sturdy woollen blanket for a while... :rotfl:

I confess, I'm shattered after yesterday ... ridiculous, really. I just have to focus on getting the house ready for client work at midday - thanks to my scanning on Monday, some of the carpet is *covered* with paper debris
bit of cleaning needed.
And if I happen to have any spare energy (which I don't) I have my bank statements right by the computer so I can list income. Lovely, not2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Just do what you can, KC, no more

I second what Cheery said:beer:
Karmacat I'm very intrigued by your and Cheery's mention of the Patchwork Fund. Any chance of a few more details please when you have a mo? It's like a whole new world on here:rotfl:0 -
Thanks Cheery!
CBC, patchwork fund is just another way of saying "savings from different streams of income" - each little piece of patchwork is another piece of income, or another stream. Its just a bit poetical and more fun than "streams of income" :A
I'm definitely being very slow at the mo, won't do much more today and *certainly* won't be in the garden - neighbour's fence has blown down, my own bin nearly crushed my lovely lemon balm, there's big(gish) branches on the pathways, and I nearly got blown away - and I'm no lightweight any more! So I'm going to footle about on the laptop for half an hour or so, and then go relax2023: the year I get to buy a car0
