Oh my, [STRIKE]Gally[/STRIKE] Ed! sorry!, they'd have got it in their fur and everywhere  not good.

Hi Goldie, yes, its very nice being a lady of leisure today - tho I *did* have some washing on the line, and for the first time since I put the washing line up, its been rained on, grrr. There was light rain forecast for 7pm, and I was being a bit too clever with the timing, so its got fairly damp again. Never mind ... actually, having a line is one less cause of damp in the house, its amazing how quickly things dry outside compared to when they're in the house.

    But here's to a lovely evening :)

    Here's to a lovely evening indeed :)

And a washing line! I'd completely forgot to add that to my 'must have' list for the new house :D Although given that top of the must have list is a proper garden, a washing line won't be hard to achieve :j But I'd forgotten about drying washing outside as a potential area for excitement :j I LOVE drying washing outside :j And while I very occasionally take the airer outside here, I did once have the nice old lady across the road knock on the door to tell me it had blown over and my underwear was blowing down the street... :o:o :rotfl: :rotfl: and more than once my sheets have ended up on the pavement :o

So my own washing line, in my very own garden - bliss!

Delurking to say to Cheery Daff, you can get free standing "rotary" style airers which can be pinned down with tent pegs. They take one full load of washing.

I've got one I stand under the car port when it rains so I can still dry clothes outside - mine was £20 from Agros.

Ooh Kate, thats a good idea to have it in the car port :) I didn't buy a rotary because of my experiences with other peoples' - too many little beasties on them for my liking. My garden is organic, and home to everything you can imagine  but that has its disadvantages :rotfl: Even on my single-stranded line, a visitor came in the other day :D

Right, I feel okay about working again, since its, y'know, a work day. Here's the list:
    - client phone call
    - a few more ebay entries
    - check my GTD list
    - finalise blog and post
    - get on with the mould again
    - send off ISA cheque
    - open the post :o
    - inspect elance for writing jobs
    - look at matched betting setups, I have to get going on that, too much money being left on the table, as they say :D

Currently I'm backing up the computer, and I may have to move it downstairs, so I can isolate myself from the cleaning fumes. Thats okay tho.

I recently put up a couple of washing lines in our back garden. We have one of those small shared areas that are common to Scottish tenements, with the original cast iron poles. After bringing our washing in for the first time, I dropped the bag in surprise due to an incredibly loud buzzing noise. What crawled out but a huge bee? :D Luckily I was able to rescue him, but he wasn't best pleased!

I am afraid that you haven't picked the best time to sort this out, many of the lower football leagues finished last weekend and the English Premier League finishes in a few weeks. This significantly curtails the money available, although horses still provide decent money. That said, if you are looking at new customer offers/SUBs etc., I would rather join a bookie using football bets for qualifiers, as you're much more likely to look like a 'mug punter'.

Ps. Football back on August 8th, maybe save some extra float until then?

Ah! I just posted on your thread about needing to use this morning to get to grips with matched betting :o ah well. August 8th - that leaves time to read through and understand, and also time to use the slots offers :D and update account details - each account takes a *long* time - I reckon 30 minutes for each, search my records, phone them, they search their records, we confirm new details by email, it takes a fair amount of time. Worth doing for the money. Can't believe I've left it so long, I was sure I'd be doing some this season :o

Never mind, onwards and upwards. Gives me more time to work on writing jobs ...

I bet the bee was angry with you, Ed! Bees don't make the best choices - I jumped into a swimming pool fully clothed once to rescue a **huge** bumble bee that had flown into the water - they're painted such bright blue, it must be very deceptive for them. Cupped him in my hands and flung the handful onto the grass, he was pretty narked with me, but he flew away, thats what matters :j

Right, enough faffing, on to my list.

Well, just the one, actually - and I can't finalise that till the backing up has finished, as I need to use the scanner first...

[STRIKE]- check my GTD list[/STRIKE] done
Some of it is alphabetised, to make sure I know where to find it and I haven't double posted to myself :o Moi, OCD?

    - finalise blog and post
Need to scan some stuff first, don't want to bung the computer up by doing that while backing up.

    - get on with the mould again
I've shifted furniture out of the way so I can get to it.

    - send off ISA cheque
Phoned building society, opened post, am ready to send it off.

[STRIKE]- open the post :o[/STRIKE] done

    - inspect elance for writing jobs
    Ready to do that now.

    - look at matched betting setups
As Ed has said, I'm too late for the footie - will work on slots instead.

    - backing up the computer.
    Doing.

Re. slots, T0tesport and B3tfred currently have RF offers for £10 available. I made £15 or so off the B3tfred one. As always, DYOR, but about as straightforward as they come

Thank you Ed! You're very generous to let me know, I do appreciate it. And yes, its a DYOR situation as always, of course.

Right, the backups will be finished in about 10 minutes, which is just right. That leaves the blogpost, the mould, and the m.b.slots.

    More to follow ...
