Don't worry, I'm safe :kisses3: though I'm wondering where you're going to be sleeping, now the house is let .
Glad the underlying cause is sorted :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Look just to add to the mould seriousness issues - make sure you work in a ventilated room while removing the stuff if you are not wearing a mask
Its nasty stuff and can cause serious problems.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Thank you peeps! Gally, I'm a little far for you, but I've been known to put people up when they're flying from/into Gatwick :j
The cleaning fluid ... I said in response to Tilly that I wasn't using a facemask ... I won't be, but I noticed yesterday that I felt very "tense", is the only way to describe it - I recognised it as a reaction to chemicals in the air, I know how my body responds to that. Dodgy! Thats why I went into the garden. Slept fine tho, and kept a window (insect screened) open all night, as usual, so its fine. I won't do any more today, as I have clients all afternoon, the smell is disruptive to client work, quite frankly, yuk.
Given that, not quite sure what to do with the rest of the morning: dishwasher is on, biiiiiiiiiig spider is smacked ... I definitely need to get the counselling room ready as per usual first, then tidy in preparation for the weekend (not rinsed the cleaner off a bathroom wall well enough for me to take a shower yet ), a few listings on ebay, clean the patio set, that sort of thing - not going to start anything new right now. Oh, open the post! Thats important! Lots of financial carp has landed on my mat the last few days :rotfl:
And phone my long-suffering business partner. Must do that, he's very good about phoning, and I'm **terrible** ...2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Counselling room is ready, I opened (some of) the post - cheque to open the new isa is here
two items listed on ebay - the dvd, I listed that about 10 mins ago, and its had 7 views! Are people looking for new listings and just sitting there refreshing their view? Astonishing ... not sold yet tho
I'm away! Then its the bank holibob :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
So glad you are de-moulding - it sounds like really hard work, but it will be a major achievement when it's doneEarly retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
Thanks Goldie
I'm probably over-egging the pudding if it sounds like *hard* work
its repetitive and smelly, and not particularly nice, but the only bits that need to be scrubbed are the grout - and I think some sealant around the old double glazing will need to be replaced eventually (not yet! no more sealant, no more :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: )
I'm off out today socialisingbut while I'm on here, I'm also scanning-to-declutter - a poetry book that was being decluttered from the school I went to :eek::eek: this dusty paperback thats been read to ribbons is 50 years old, and doesn't smell particularly nice either  so I'm scanning my faves and disposing in the recycling.
Its amazing what can stare you in the face - I have a guillotine (for paper, not heads) which was necessary when we used to send out information about counselling by post - but its maybe 2 years since anyone applied by post, so that can go too. For anything crafty, a craft knife will be fine.
I love decluttering :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Oddly enough ,I was looking for my guillotine yesterday and couldn't find it! :rotfl: Mine's not a fancy pants one though, just a clear plastic ruler and a slicer thingy. No idea where it's gone!0

I think thats probably what mine is too, Cheery, though I bought it when I first became self employed, so its quite ... old ... :rotfl: and I remember it being really expensive, £20 25 years ago sort of expensive!
Lovely day yesterday, doing local touristy things that we don't usually do, great big sandstone outcrops, its a gorgeous rock. Today though, its chucking it down, but fortunately the annual Rotary car boot sale isn't till tomorrow - so today is stay at home and hangout and catch up day. I may have discovered full episodes of an SF series I like on youtube :shhh: and while I'm winding up the clockwork on the computer, I may be setting up some ebay sales
But first ... pootling about on here2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
In my first job in 19oatcakes we had a real guillotine , a wooden thing , with a great big blade.
