All going well KC, love the positivity :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Blimey Karmacat! After reading all your activities this weekend I'm exhausted! I really had a lovely chinwag with you as well yesterday. Have been reading the gardening book, it's totally up my street! I'm off to bed now after one of the best weekends in ages!
Have a lovely week! XWith family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!

Hi both :hello::hello:
Hopefulyjoy, 'twas your example that got me goinghope you had a lovely time too. I'm glad the gardening book appealed - it does to me too, but it repeats what I had, so its good to let it go somewhere its more appreciated, like you said about your stuff :A
I just watched a programme about tsunami survivors making sure to live to the full, in memory of those who didn't survive ... I tell you, that got me up out of my armchair, and posting the first part of my writing work. My word.
Anyway, all's well - writing done, no text from stupid Hotpoint people and they say that means the cancellation I made took effect, local bloke will be phoning early tomorrow to tell me what time he's coming, early short piece of phone work at 9am plus evening work later, so the day is free for washing machine repair, cover photo, finishing editing the book. Got to do that.
And I *am* going to bed right now - taking a cuppa tea, possibly, but I'm going to be in bed

Oh, no! I hope this isn't the start of something more debilitating, just when you were doing so well. Take extra care of yourself for the next few days:coffee:0 -
oh no. Hope snuffles don't amount to much. Especially as you were doing so well.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Thanks both! I *may* be being slightly paranoid - burned my mouth slightly on hot tea last night, so didn't drink as much as usual, blah blah ... aftereffects of both those may add up to what I'm experiencing
:o:o but just in case, I've had another vit c tablet, and done the salty gargle
I'm also doing the final proofreadwill do the photo this afternoon, while waiting for the appliances man, 2 - 4pm.

Could it be Hayfever Karma? The weekend's sunshine might be responsible?

Hello KC and the gang,
just popping by again to catch up and lovely to hear that productive and cheerful things have been happening,
I'm hoping no lurgies develop, I'm slowly emerging from hibernation so it would be lovely to have a catch up some time.

Hello both :hello::hello:
Fortune, I do get hayfever, but not at the mo ... I really think its the little tiny burnparanoia's my middle name, dontcha know
Appliance repairman has come and gone - plugged in the hose I'd pulled out of the back of the dishwasherbut the washing machine is beyond repair
and fortunately he was prepared to explain why. Advised me to buy a new one - £180 or so! Good heavens ... the Hotpoint I bought when I bought my first house did me for 18 years, and that had 3 lodgers using it as well :eek: Astonishing times we live in ... well, its got to be done. And apparently the reconditioned machine market has disappeared round here as well, with new machines being so cheap
thats bad
I'll be wandering about the web now, trying to buy good-but-cheap.
Lula, it would be lovely to meet up again some time soon :kisses3: I'm presuming I'm not getting ill, so I'll pm you and we can set something up :T2023: the year I get to buy a car0
