The guy works in Toronto2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I've had two cousins who lived in Canada. One lived near Toronto, although he's moved back the the UK now. The other is still over there, in Nova Scotia.
Unfortunately, I've never been to Canada, and feel I'm missing out. Hopefully I will manage a visit at some point in the next few yearsEarly retired - 18th December 2014

I'd love to see Nova Scotia! I'd definitely recommend a visit to Canada - it looks so like what we see of the USA, but it's own culture is so different, and different from us as well.
A lot of things came together for me to go: I was already planning to go to Chicago, for the World Science Fiction Convention (the type of thing I went to in August) and then I learned that the Mars Society - a pressure group for human space exploration - would be holding its conference in Toronto the month before. And two big theatre festivals were on - at Stratford Ontario (Shakespeare) and Niagara on the Lake (Shaw). I did bitty stuff in between tooit was great
Bleeping well wish I had the energy to do that these days! My lovely Canadian contact has offered me a free skype supervision session, which probably *will* give me some energy.
No paid work today, thankfully, its just a question of keeping well for the session tomorrow. And wandering about the diaries2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Thank you Squizz! As we speak, I've been journalling about stuff - reading a few blog posts that seem very pertinent, and writing, writing, writing, about the problem I'm facing, of my own making. And it turns out that a lot of people are really wonderful :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0
