It can be cheaper to join the AA/RAC on the spot though.

Having not broken down on the motorway for several years, having to pay a higher fee the once can still be a saving.

But for a flat I would not be paying it at all, I would expect to change it.

First of all I am not Rodney trotter. My main interest is baking, banking, and batteries. I have no idea who Rodney trotter is, but whoever he is regardless of his numerous posts, that is up to him.

Anyway I regularly stop on the hard shoulder and its never an emergency. I wouldnt change a wheel there.
