To all, Once again I say, I don't post unsubstantiated facts. May be not all are verifiable in public domain. However, I know for a fact that these companies are legal.
But they are also at the 'verge' of breaking the rules, laws and regulations.

@Pollycat, how would I complain to MP. Could you please let me know the process?. I want to be a good samaritan and a citizen at the same time:-)

What do you think the meaning of "deal" as stated below?

    16c1b0n.jpg

You have to have an official address to which documents can be served, once they are served there they can be 'dealt' with my being forwarded to the address you have told companies house you are keeping your records at.

    It's really quite simple.
    4. Company and accounting records
    You must keep:

    records about the company itself
    financial and accounting records
    Records about the company
    You must keep details of:

    directors, shareholders and company secretaries
the results of any shareholder votes and resolutions
promises for the company to repay loans at a specific date in the future (‘debentures’) and who they must be paid back to
promises the company makes for payments if something goes wrong and it’s the company’s fault (‘indemnities’)
transactions when someone buys shares in the company
loans or mortgages secured against the company’s assets

You must tell Companies House if you keep the records somewhere other than the company’s registered office address.
    https://www.gov.uk/running-a-limited-company/company-and-accounting-records

There's even an online form to tell Companies House if you're going to keep records at another address.
    Before you start

You must tell Companies House about changes you make to your limited company, including:

directors and company secretaries joining or leaving
changing your company’s name, registered office address or accounting reference date
changing where your company records are kept

    https://www.gov.uk/file-changes-to-a-company-with-companies-house.

You clearly have no experience of running a limited company so it's probably best if you stop making yourself look stupid now.

    Yes, you do.

You posted that companies have to keep their records at their registered address, this is unsubstantiated and completely incorrect.

But being on the 'verge' of breaking the rules, laws and regulations means they are operating legally.
    End of.

You seem so competent at digging up ridiculous links that I'm sure you could manage to find out the process yourself.

But, as you've asked for help, here:

    http://www.parliament.uk/get-involved/contact-your-mp/

There - not so hard is it?

However, as you acknowledge above that 'these companies are legal' what are you expecting your MP to do?

I advise people to contact OFT (via CAB) or 'the appropriate body' if they believe the websites are misleading.

I suggest you be a good Samaritan and citizen and do that if you believe the websites are misleading.

    Why wouldn't it?

I'm non resident in the UK (but still receive mail from HMRC), and these letters get sent to my accountant as I don't currently have a residential address that this sort of official mail can go to.

My accountant then forwards any mail to me and I then deal with the queries asked by the taxman, so yes, forwarding mail can most certainly be part of the process in dealing with a matter.

The words your accountant or any other address you choose is pertinant.

I think the words of, shot oneself in the foot springs to mind!

Keep trying Hpuse, one asks directly.

Have you got your money back yet?

    It isn't 'defence'. It's fact.

I haven't stepped foot in my accountants office, which is where my registered address is, not ever. I have nothing stored there, I have no company records there. Any post that is sent to my registered address is forwarded by them to my office address.

What's hard to understand about that?

Like I said above, you have no idea or experience on how limited companies operate, so stop spouting crap like you know what you're talking about. You know nothing and clearly can't even use Google properly.
