As Bod1467 says.
From the forum rules:What are the rules on copyright?
We ask forum users not to copy long text from other publications/websites as it may breach their copyright. If you want to let people know about something you saw or read elsewhere please use short quotes and state where you got them from, preferably by giving a link to the article.0 -
If the source is yourself, then it has no credibility.
Only information from a credible source can seen to be good.
Surely you can understand that?
I see, that's why my post#1 has no credibility in the forum.!
Got the 'mechanics' of thinking applied here
Hang on, so there was a poster here earlier claiming 17 years of banking dispute experience so why don't you ask that poster to verify the same.:rotfl:
OR
prove that I "clearly lifted" it....0 -
It does not require 10K posts or a million thanks to understand the 'pulse' of a poster and stuffs he or she holds...0

Hold on, forget about service or product. So you are now saying a customer can complain to the bank?
I've never said they can't - if they want a refund (via a chargeback) and have a valid reason, such as they paid for a service (or product) and didn't receive it.
In this case, they paid for the service (the checking of a passport application) and they received that service - no grounds for complaint or refund.0 -

He's proved with the answers he's given on this and numerous other threads that he knows what he is talking about.
All you have proved so far is that you're talking out your !!!!.0 -
This thread is a rip-off.
I have phoned my bank and they said they could do nothing about it.
I phoned my credit card company, they too were unable to help.
Both suggested I come back to this thread and say that it's the thread which is the problem, and it should be allowed to die a quick death by ignoring the troll/sock puppet who is just wasting everyone's time.
(note: if you click on hpuse's name, you can then choose to Ignore them. It's quick and painless)1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -
Some possible reasons for claiming a chargeback are:
- Company goes into administration — the company you purchased from has gone bust.
- Quality of item — the goods were not as described or were defective.
- Non-delivery — the goods were not received as promised.
- Technical issue — expired authorisation or a processing error by the bank.
- Clerical error — being charged multiple times or being billed for the incorrect amount.
- Fraud — you have been the victim of fraud and did not authorise the purchase.
Unfortunately - "Not reading what you bought" isnt on the list.0 -

Please, ignore me then - there is convenient forum feature for people who can't resist replying to every other posts.0 -
