I was trying to book her an appointment to go in person. She needed the passport as soon as possible. This website is call ukpassport offices. I though that it was the real one. Luckily the page clase down before I put my credit card details.

The website you quote above is not the same one as in your pm to me:
I'm getting very confused as to exactly which website you used and exactly what you did.0 -
Annas1974,
In other words, what Powerful_Rogue is saying is, the website (i.e the copycat you clicked) are using a scare mongering tactic on you - just ignore them, it will die off its course..
No offence hpuse, but its time to stop your silly games for a moment.
Its obvious Anna is very concerned regarding this and some of us are trying to help her get to the bottom and resolve this. Without knowing the full details, telling her to bury her head in the sand isnt useful advice.0 -

Which service did you apply for, so we can check to see if there are any additional T&C's?
I also notice this in their T&C's, which seems to contradict when the provision of services will commence.
This is the pm sent to me by annas1974 this morning at 10:30:annas1974 wrote:http://www.britishpassportservices.co.uk/
after giving my mother in law details and the page closing down i realised that the webpage is was fake, and a forgot about it,until they keep asking my mother in law for payment. my mother in law is going to say that she was not her who signed (that is true it was me) and she has never apply for this services. she received a letter for this company, but is not register (she can say that she never get that letter).
they did not call my mother in law to make sure that if was her the one who asked for the service and to take payment.
she is going to block her mobile and house telephone to make sure that they can not contact her.
she tried to contact one of telephone number and they not working. she tried to call the mobile number they give her and is not working.
my mother in law is very scared that they to the small county court.
sorry about my english.

Polly, I think they are all linked.
http://www.ukpassportoffices.co.uk/ asks you to visit http://www.passportterms.co.uk/ to view the terms and conditions. Within those terms and conditions it mentions the following websites:
http://www.britishpassportservices.co.uk/
http://www.passportforms.org.uk/
http://www.britishpassportservices.co.uk/

Ok, I think I can see what they are getting at now.
From http://www.britishpassportservices.co.uk which Anna says she has used, I clicked on "Apply/Renew Passport" and then "3-6 Weeks Standard Renewal Process". Then "Standard Renewal Within The UK" which takes you to this page - http://www.britishpassportservices.co.uk/online-passport-application-form.html
On that page is the terms and conditions you have to agree to. Within that is the following:The service fee you pay our independent organisation (starting at £62.40) for this service is non-refundable and is payment for use of our online booking form, our passport advisors checking the details you’ve entered for any errors or omissions and submitting the form to the Passport Offices’ processing department. This fee is due within 72hrs of completing the form. By using this service you may receive email and free sms notifications from us and other companies in our group.0 -

It sounds like it is an 'implanted' concern if she hasn't lost any money, Power...0 -

You really are starting to show your true colours now.
You created this thread to help people, yet when someone needs help you post once telling them to bury their head in the sand without trying to get the full facts, and then start to moan about the people that are trying to help the "victim".
For your information, I will post what I like as long as its within the forum guidelines and is relevant to the discussion.0 -

Please provide a legal (or any) definition of what an "implanted concern" is.
It has highlighted that the OP needs better advice other then what you contributed - to ignore them. Can you provide any relevant law or legislation to assist the OP?0 -
No.GUYS,
Can you please stop posting direct links of these 'framework' domains of copycat websites.
It's relevant to the situation that we are trying to help with.
And as you have previously pointed outGoogle has a team of engineers working round the clock to stop copycat ads getting displayed by these perpetrators.
so as you claim that these ads do not appear at the top of a Google search it's highly unlikely that anyone wanting to apply for or renew their passport would find this thread and follow a link to a non-official website.0
