richard make it clear...which side of the fence u're operating??!
the only poster im fairly confident is hpuse and wealdrome.
I am no operating on either side of the fence.
I have nothing to do with any websites, in fact I work in a factory, a fact that can be verified by looking at my old posts going back to when I first joined MSE forum.
I have never had any dealing with these sites, in fact I don't even have a passport and have only had to replace my driving licence once and used the official .gov website.
I didn't even know they existed until threads like this on here and have no knowledge of the law or advertising standards or consumer rights beyond that of the ordinary bloke in the street (much of which is probably wrong/misinformed and basically unfounded).
When I first came across this thread I thought, Oh good, someone has taken the time and effort to produce a guide to help people get their money back, good on them.
However after reading the thread in it's entirety and seeing it evolve into what it is now, I have come to the conclusion that you and Hpuse are at best misguided.
It has been interesting to see Hpuse's postings and have even thought on occasion that yes he has a point, only for it to later be disproved by people who have provided links that back up their assertions, unlike Hpuse who has glossed over any such issues and gone on to post further spurious links to take the discussion in a different direction, rather than answer the points raised.
Now along comes you.
It has to be said that your writing style and the complete lack of coherence in some of your posts is very similar to that of Hpuse, with the same poor syntax and grammar.
Also the fact that you seemed to have picked up the gauntlet of the crusade after Hpuse stated he wasn't posting on this thread any more and often refuse to answer legitimate questions by sidetracking the argument leads to the suspicion that you and Hpuse are one and the same.
As for MSE banning people, well it's the same as for the copycat websites, if you think they have breached some rules, report them to the relevant authorities.0 -
Keith, where has anyone shown that they're on the side of the websites?
No-one has. They've just explained why the advice given by hpuse is misguided. No-one likes these sites, but unfortunately they are operating within the law.
You were asked by others to provide evidence because you said you were happy to!0 -
Full money refunded... hurrah!!
if anyone doesn't believe send me mesg I will show the proof.
So the overall effect of OP for me- positive!
thanks hpuse, others should really keep quite!
There is where you said you would. I don't think Mrs Crafty has said that she'll show proof, nor that she was fully refunded. She also seems to be a legitimate forum user with many posts in other areas and hasn't stuck to only one topic.0 -
Keith has only posted on 3 threads ...
This one
uk-passport.net
Flight delay and cancellation compensation, Thomson ONLY
... with the vast majority being on this one.0 -
i ask u again...
can u quote me a post where u've directly asked mrs crafty to show refund comes thru her bank???
You must be on a wind up because no-one can be this stupid. This is the third time ive had to say this now!powerful_Rogue wrote: »Because if you read what Mrs Crafty wrote, she states she has raised a dispute and is awaiting Mastercard to decide.
Mrs Crafty said:
Thankfully for me, MasterCard was happy to raise this as a dispute! So I should get my money back. I didn't fill in form properly and they didn't send me a form!
See, no mention of a refund being granted. Also, im guessing if a refund is issued it will be because she didnt receive the service she paid for as she has not received the paperwork.0 -
