Also it doesn't even mention these sites. I can imagine when they write rogue traders they more mean people who take thousands for say a new drive and never do it or !!!! it up & don't come back etc.0 -
Thing is, by the time people hit this thread and threads like it it's too late. They've already googled for whatever service, hit a clone website and been deceived. So advising people how best to obtain a passport or a driving licence online and without incurring extra charges in this thread is a waste of time!
Despite all the publicity people are STILL using these websites.
So instead of squabbling with me (and posting rather unintelligible gibberish, much like another poster) why not send an email to your MP, which would take about the same amount of effort and complain that you were caught out and ask that they do something about them?
Failing that keep up with the attacks and drivel and you'll soon find yourself persona non grata on here!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

read the entire thread...
clearly copycat legal vigilantes post in this thread...powerful rogue, missprice,meer55,polycat et all.
hpuse has gone over and above. wealdrome is one exemption in the list.
I have and my conclusion is you and hpuse are very clearly the same person...HAPPY NOW?0 -
attack-pester-ridicule and overrule is the posting policy of copycats vigilantes operating here. I wonder why MSE forum admins can't bar them.
Because they aren't breaking any of the forum rules, a bit like the copycat websites aren't breaking any laws and therefore are legitimate, regardless of anyone's personal feeling towards them.
Can you show one post where anyone (especially by those you mentioned) that support the business model of the copycat websites?0 -

funny? why shd i???
care you ask this qs to mrs crafty in uk passport.net thread????
vigilantes pestering to prove wht??
Because if you read what Mrs Crafty wrote, she states she has raised a dispute and is awaiting Mastercard to decide.
Why should you? Well the main reason is because you offered!
I think you've made it well and truly clear that you didnt receive a chargeback/refund from your card provider. Its also evidently clear that you and hpuse are one and the same person.0 -

im not even gonna tell which website i paid.
they could even be criminals they hv my personal details??!!
its high time mse ban these forum users??
Im not asking to know which website you used.
Even more reason to read and check who you hand your card details over to in future then.
Ban for what reason? If you would be so kind as to look at the MSE forum rules and advise what rules we have apparently breached? Oops - I forgot you dont believe in reading t&c's and small print!0 -
