Hi Dotty,
What an great diary. You definitely seem to be getting it together and like you I think it is important to keep connected here to keep on track. Only thing is it is currently my distraction from doing my assignment. Oops.
Hope the family crisis calms down soon and keep up all your hard work. It will be great in the end. :AE.F. #38 240.55/1000 SPC8 #375

So, as so many times before I find myself in and out of these forums.....I had so many good intentions and plans for 2014.... Sone gave come to fruition and some have not...I am at a point now where I need to get serious about getting rid of this debt once and for all. Nothing drastic has happened but things are never for certain and a few things recently have made me more aware of the need to sort thus once and for all..I will do this. As I read so many times I have all the financial responsibility for the household myself and will be the first to admit I'm no accountant or financial whizzkid. I have learnt things and am genuinely trying to progress each month. The debts are reducing overall but some have increased and in all honesty this is due to overspending and maybe being too generous at the detriment of my own finances. This has come to a stop and I'm hoping that this only gets better, I'm not going to say oh well 2015 is my year......but this has to start now, I do however think the next 12 months with being diligent and committed I can make huge inroads to the debt so that is my goal. Just writing it down makes me feel better, perhaps a new SOA is in order ???Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0

Found you DottyAnne!
Just had a quick read through and you are doing brilliantly - so focussed and certainly Queen of Ebay!:T
Fantastic about your fuel reduction /new car ....
Unfortunately we are in a similar position but cannot afford to change cars at the moment so costing loads to maintain - but neither worth enough to be able to replace without loans
Hope the family crisis has resolved

Hi NOA - thanks for popping by
..... Am currently in countdown to OH pay day at the end of the week....was really annoyed earlier this week....thinking I'm being smart and reducing my CC limits when they get under the next £100, in an effort to not have any available credit and therefore no temptation, I had a charge for being over limit as they added my monthly charges on after lowering the limit taking me a few quid over !!!! It's so frustrating but so important lesson learned I reckon .... Just as I think I'm getting somewhere...I'm in the planning stages of a project that after expenses should make a few grand so that's good news but will take a few months...still it's a step in the right direction. Plans plans plans....I'm great at making them just need to work on sticking to them! I've ran out of steam with eBay - need to gather up so e stuff but running out of things of any decent value

That is SO annoying DottyAnne - is it worth a call saying that you hadn't realised the charges were yet to be added - explain you voluntarily reduced the limit and if you hadn't you would not have exceeded limit?
Plans sound good - keep at the project - it will be worth it if you can pay a big lump sum off!
Best of luck
