Nothing majorly MSE to report today....I tend to try to have some down time from it at weekends, budget still going well and am tracking ALL spending, food budget has taken a bit of a hammering and I'm determined not to go over so will have to reign that in a bit.

Will be posting eBay sales tomorrow and making payment to the Apr ccard. Still waiting for payment on 2 items so have contacted buyer to pay so I can send everything in one go. Will have a look for more items to list tomorrow too....

Fingers crossed the elusive 0% card arrives in the post tomorrow so I can finally do the balance transfer.

YAY !!!! The elusive new capital one balance transfer card came today !!! Swiftly transferred all but a few £'s from the barclaycard over, this is a great result...now the majority of my cc debt is at 0%, the rest being another cap 1 card at over 33% but am working to clear the balance in full in next 3 months max. In the last 2 days alone paid £44 off as an overpayment on top of regular payment of £150 and when OH's expenses money lands of over £600 this will go straight off there too...all eBay items sold will be used to oay off this card along with any underspend on my monthly budget so all is coming together.

On another note I am also looking at changing my gas guzzling car for a more economical one so am looking what the best ones are at the moment...watch this space lol.

That's amazing news about the 0% cc. Must be quite a weight off your shoulders. I really should give myself deadlines of clearing my debts to as you have but I never know how much I'm going to earn each month so it's a bit tricky.

Good news on the cap one card, and on the ebay sales, you are doing really well there.

Changing your car will really save a lot of money, I changed mine last year and its great not having to spend out so much in petrol. :D

Thanks all for the comments :) nothing exciting to report today. Posted my eBay sales only 1 item left listed for sale, waiting payment on 2 items and need to sort some more stuff for listing later.... Checked online the balance transfer isn't shoeing up on the barclaycard yet, fingers crossed it is tomorrow though...

Defo looking at changing cars ATM...looking for a much smaller engine, pref diesel etc, saving money on tax, insurance fuel etc. will update once I've found something.

Balance transfer complete yay !!! Only a minimal balance left on the barclaycard now. I've set the dd on this to minimum and whatever's left from the £100 I usually pay will go towards the cap 1 APR card, hoping in 3 months max this is gone..need to keep up the intensity on eBay - haven't listed for a dew days more due to laziness than not having stuff to sell, so am off right now to list 5 things !!!!!

Back, have listed 6 items so along with the one re listed that's 7 :), feels better to have done them, don't want lose momentum, really can't afford to take my eye off the ball. I am determined to get these cards paid off this year...also aim to be debt free be end 2015 !!! Plans in motion for change of car too, I've seen one but I can only go to view tomorrow morning and it's a good deal so am hoping it's not gone by then - fingers crossed ...
