Hey Dotty
Sounds like you're doing good! Well done on listing more stuff on ebay. I keep meaning to but I've been putting it off for a few days.
Fantastic news on the balance transfer finally all sorted! It's such a nice feeling to know you won't have to pay massive amounts of interest isn't it?!

Hi Hun
writing down that I hadn't listed any more stuff actually gave me the kick to go do it ! That's why these diaries are a life saver... It is great news about the bal transfer and 0%, however that deal is only for 6 months so need to keep going full throttle to clear this within the 0% timescale along with the other that's gaining interest...the remainder still has about 19 months interest free but obv will be snowballing to clear be end 2014...
Onwards and upwards lol, how are you doing ?Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0 -

6 months is certainly better than 0 and will still save you a heck of a chunk of money. I was very lucky that I got a 23 month 0% from Barclaycard with a credit limit big enough to cover all my interest-ridden balance!
The way you're going, you'll have no problem clearing it by the end of 2014
I'm good - apart from being sick with flu. At least being stuck at home means I've not been spending anything!

True, I'm thankful for the 6 months
I'm defo going to clear it by then anyway - there's positivity lol....
Nothing worse than flu, hope you feel better soon but glad in the NSD's
Take care .....Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0 -

Thanks Sassy, I'm over the moon, it's a newer, nicer but more importantly, more economical car. My old car cost a fortune in tax, parts etc, this one is a small engine, diesel, £20 a year road tax as opposed to £500 ish and I even got a tiny refund back on the insurance

That's awesome! I've got a large car which I bought for specific reasons. And then a few months later stopped doing all the things I needed it for so now I have a car that's big enough for 7 and I only have us two in it and on the odd occasion a few other kids or my parents - ridiculous. I really should do the same as you, maybe you're the incentive I need!CC1: 10273.70/6892.56. CC2: 1000/832

Hi sassy
this car change is already proving to be the best decision ever, put £40 in last week and the needle hardly budged so far
need to update my budget, had a couple things that could mess it up a little but eBay sales and expenses owed should rectify once the money lands, 5 items still live on eBay but no takers yet, if they don't sell will relish anyway. Nothing other than that except have started a change money bank, more for the coins the kids leave all over the place - their Loss is my gain hahahaha
