Thanks Struggling Youth
A super quick post tonight as I must go to bed soon, have a 14 hour shift to look forward to tomorrow. I paid the council tax today but other than that it has been a NSD.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
Mortgage overpayment savings - £46.47/£50

A NSD today
. Had a good shift today but glad its over, back in early tomorrow so a very quick post again tonight. I will get paid tomorrow instead of Friday due to Easter, don't know exactly how much though as there was some kind of 'technical glitch' so still haven't had my payslip.

A NSD again today
I got paid £39.88 and my £5 reward was added on my account.
Budget for this week - £44.88
- £14 weekly savings
- 88p emergency fund
- £30 food/bus fare
- £10 Lovefilm (from money already put by for direct debits)
OH also gave me £20 today so put £10 into wedding savings and £10 to electricity bill. I caught up with surveys and managed to redeem a £15 Am*zon voucher so I now have nearly £70 worth of vouchers towards christmas.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Yesterday I went to the gym and spent £5.12 on eggs, veg and some daffodils at the local market. Today I am planning to go for a run, however, I obviously overdid it yesterday as my muscles are protesting just walking about in the flat so don't know how far I'll get.
We're beginning to run low on a few items but can't decide whether to go to the supermarket today or just hang on until we need more items. I've made a meal plan for the week based mostly on what we already have in the flat so might wait.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

I went to M*rrisons yesterday and spent £22.43 which was a bit more than planned but got a lot of reduced price items which have mostly gone into the freezer for later weeks. Today will be a NSD as I'm not planning to do much until its time to go to work. Really can't be bothered working today but its double time
I have just been arranging to meet a friend for lunch on Friday so I better remember to budget for that when I get my payslip through this week.
Hope everyone has had a good Easter weekend :easter:Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

and this is why I stop here first when I lurk.
You have it all sussed, I have never come across anyone so focussed and hard working who counts every penny, yet STILL finds a few extra pennies for daffodils.
We all need the daffodils, they bring colour and spring into our lives.
Its not just about debt busting (though that is important) its about balance and making sure we also enjoy the simple pleasures.
Way to GO girl!

Thanks for a lovely post Boodedoo
Not much to report really. Yesterday and today have both been NSDs. I've got the next 2 days off so looking forward to relaxing. Tomorrow I've got a completely free day to myself which I haven't had in quite a while so will have to try and make the most of it.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

tomorrow won't be as I need mouthwash, vitamins and milk. I have also been to the gym, done some cleaning and some baking.
I finally went and upgraded my phone today so I have a new shiny phoneMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

I'm currently heading out to see my gran, it's a beautiful day here so I think the plan will be an afternoon sitting enjoying the sun in her garden
Me and OH have decided to go away for a weekend at the end of May so will look at buying travel tickets tomorrow. We will be staying with a friend so that will keep costs down.
I still haven't got my payslip from weekly job as apparently they are having technical difficulties again. I will still get paid on Friday but it's a bit annoying as I like to know and have my budget planned in advance. As you all know I like a plan :rotfl:Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
