Thanks Gib - if only being specific meant I would actually stick to it :rotfl:

I spent £2.50 on the bus home from work today as it decided to rain just as I was leaving :( I stopped into M*rrisons on the way home and spent £16.89 so really pleased with that. Will probably need a few bits and bobs during the week but I didn't want to get too much without OH there to help me carry it home.

I've been invited out for tea with the girls on Monday, would really like to go so thought I would budget £15 for this (out of my clothes money and will replace it on Friday once I get paid). I'm working the next day so won't drink so it shouldn't be too expensive.

The flat cleaning/clear out is going well. I took two big bags of books to the charity shop yesterday and have thrown out a heap of stuff as well. Me and OH were debating whether to hire a carpet cleaner once everything is done so will have to look into how much this would cost.

Yesterday was a NSD :). Today I spent £7.66 on a few bits in Sa*nsburys, still under budget for food so far this week. I got the bus home from work (£2.50) as I didn't feel too well. I went for a wee nap when I got home and woke up feeling fine so must have just been super tired. I had a lovely evening out with friends and spent £12 so under budget there too. Budgeting is definitely going better this week :) long may it continue!

I went to the gym this morning - first time for a while. This is something that I've let slip in the past couple of weeks so want to get back into it.

Spends for today so far are £2.35 on bread and milk. I'm just walking up to work the now so will need £2.20 for bus fare later.

Thanks Gib, things are definitely going well this week on the budgeting front. I've been feeling fine over the last couple of days so not sure what was wrong with me on Monday.

I got my payslip from 2nd job today so will get £120.84 on Friday, will do a budget tomorrow.

Minimal spends today - £1.26 on a couple of things to go with tea and £1.40 on an icecream on the way home from work.

I got my payslip through for my monthly wage so will get £1147.50 next week. I'll need £1070 to cover the usual bills leaving not much left over :( very thankful for my second job, really don't know how we'd cope otherwise. Will do a proper budget tomorrow.

Forgot to say in yesterday's post that my phone bill and gym membership direct debits went out. Spends for today are £14.05 in L*dl and £2.50 for bus fare home with the shopping. I also spent £3.89 on toiletries (£5 off with the voucher that OH gave me :))

I made the £5.84 payment to cc1 today, once I make my usual £50 payment at the end of the month I will only have £54.55 left to pay off to meet my mini target by the end of August. I'm debating changing my mini target as basically I would only have to make an overpayment of £4.55 in August to meet my current target. However, with the wedding at the end of August, I should probably put any excess money into that fund. I'll have a bit of a think about it.

Budget for monthly wage - £1147.50
    - £960 rent, council tax and loan
    - £50 cc1
    - £25 cc2
    - £25 christmas savings
    - £10 Lovefilm
    - £30 present for friend
    - £30 wedding/electricity fund
Leaving £17.50 which I will put towards direct debits later on in the month if nothing else comes up.
