Not much to report from today, a quiet shift at work which was good. After work, I went to A*di and spent £21.53 so a bit over budget but got heaps of stuff for OH when I'm away.
I've managed to pick up a short shift from 2nd job for tomorrow morning so at least that means I will now get paid something next Friday. I think I'll split it between cc1 and the wedding fund as I already have the £100 put by to cover that week.
I am hoping for a NSD tomorrow as I'm at work all day (working late shift at main job) so I won't really get the opportunity to spend money. NSDs have been few and far between recently so here's hopingMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

It's official - I'm on my holidays
I'm currently on a bus very close to Glasgow so almost there (well first part of the journey anyway).
Today I have spent £12.22 on a wee something for my parents and snacks/drink for the bus. My budget is totally shot for this week so I need to think of what I can improve on.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Thanks Gib, having a great time so far although I got a bit burnt today so currently doing a pretty good tomato impression
Spends for today have been £13.20 for a return train ticket for the rest of my journey home and £4.75 on a breakfast roll/coffee.
My landlord got in touch today to say the rent is increasing by £50 a month from next monthwe've decided to accept the increase but it means I have to either get really on the ball with my budgets or reduce overpayments to my debt.
In other great news, cc1 sent me a letter to say that they want to increase my credit limit to £4000 so phoned them to say no thanks. Wow how times have changed.
Forgot to say in yesterday's post the Lovefilm direct debit went out and I made a £4.12 payment to cc1.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Damn - I just wrote you what I thought was a great post (IMHO) and then managed to delete it all. Stupid laptop, and stupid fat fingers!
I was basically saying boo to the rent increase, but maybe it can be more motivation to see if you can cut back even further and still reach your goals (i.e. an unwelcome but new challenge)
Also sorry to hear about your tomato status - at least it's nice weather whilst you're offx

Well my fat fingers have managed to post my last entry twice so we make a fine pair :rotfl:
That's the way I'm trying to look at the rent increase as I really don't want to reduce my debt repayments. I feel really motivated at the moment and I think it would impact on this if I had to reduce my payments.
Thankfully my tomato look has faded a bit to a nice tan. I now look as though I've been somewhere exotic for my hols not just another part of Scotland.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
