Shift done for 2nd job so should get £22ish next Friday. They cancelled my Sunday shift which I'm actually really glad about as I'm doing overtime for my work tomorrow. I'm shattered and could really do with a day off.

Went to B&Ms on the way home looking for a door mat, found 1 for £2.99. Also bought washing tabs, washing up liquid and weetabix (OH's fave breakfast and sometimes tea), didn't actually need any of them right now but couldn't resist the bargain so £8.75 spent.

Just away now to meet my gran for coffee :D

Thanks gib, it was lovely to catch up with my gran. There's a family wedding next week so was getting filled in on the goss about wedding prep :D

Heading home now to get showered and then back out to meet the girls later. Hopefully it won't be too an expensive night.

Bank account reward went in (now only £3 :() so I've done a wee tidy of my accounts and moved£7.37 into a different account to go towards the council tax bill. I've currently got £30.20 towards it, only another £247.78 to go!

Friday night I managed to stick to my £40 budget, came hone with a couple of quid. Yesterday I had a horrible hangover in the morning and spent £11.07 on junk food and juice :o which thankfully sorted me out before it was time to go to work.

Today I've been to the gym and popped to the supermarket to get milk, bread, cheese and bacon - £6.20 spent. Just away to make bacon rolls for our brunch. Not sure what the plan is for today, may see if I can drag OH out for a walk later as it's a nice day.

Thanks monz, added another £4.12 to the fund today so getting there slowly :D

Not much to report really. Did 3 hour shifts for 2nd job after main job both Monday and Tuesday so should get around £42 next Friday. Not much but any extra cash is much appreciated.

A day off today :). The carpets were supposed to be fitted but there was an issue so they are now being fitted first thing tomorrow. Bit of a pain but ended up going for a lovely (very cold) walk along the beach with OH and catching up with the rugby I missed at the weekend so have had a lovely day off.

    Thursday
Carpets were fitted which was fab, however, now all the internal doors are off. I've arranged to borrow some equipment off a friend's husband to shave the bottom of the doors so that they fit again. I gave my brother £35 to pay for travel costs for the wedding and bought a wedding present (£25). I also spent £5.50 on a snack for travelling and a wee gift for my brother and his wife. Once I got down to Glasgow, I spent £2.20 on a coffee and then £10.60 on drinks with my sister and brother.

    Friday
Spends were £5.75 on coffee and a snack in the airport and then £8.00 on some food once we'd arrived.

    Saturday
A NSD :) I expected to spend heaps at the wedding but actually spent nothing. I had a few glasses of wine with the food but then decided just to drink water at the reception which was obviously fab from a money point of view and also no hangover on Sunday morning.

    Sunday
Travelled back up. Spent £3 on water and snacks at the airport and then £4 on milk and bread once I got back home. My total budget for the weekend was £80 and I've come back with £5.95 which I'll use to pay for a coffee when I meet a friend on Thursday.

    Today
I took today off work so that I would have plenty of time to recover from the weekend :) I went for a run this morning then went to Lidlee and spent £19.38 on a few bits to keep us going for the next week or so. I did a huge sausage casserole in the slow cooker earlier, plenty of leftovers to go into the freezer for another day.

I realised today when I checked my bank account that I hadn't yet paid the rent. I've not yet set up a direct debit for it since moving and I just kinda forgot about it. Was thinking that I had heaps of money left for the month but it didn't really click. So I'll pay that tomorrow, need to then do a review of what's left in the account and what's left to pay.

Thanks INOD - I have never heard of such things but shall have a google.

It's OH's birthday today so I spent £30 on a present for him. Plus bought a bottle of wine and some pudding to go with tea, £9.60 spent. I also contributed £20 towards a birthday present for my SIL as it's her birthday next week.

Rent has been paid and there's enough money left in my bank account to cover the 3 direct debits left to come out this month. I've got £10 in my purse and will get around £42 on Friday from 2nd job so that's plenty to do us until I get paid in 12 days time.
