If there were 200 (appropriate) jobs and she applied for an amount under her job seekers agreement, then I would say things don't look good. If she met her job seekers agreement, then a sanction should not be applied.0

People have said on here they do not believe I have had NO hassle from the JC.KevInChester wrote: »Some people are too trusting, it is however not nice at all to positively revel in somebody elses misfortune.
I wonder why that is?
I ask for copies if they want to take them off me and give them back to me instead.
I have ALL my job searches since the 1st week I signed.
I am never late
Never shouted and or spoke back to an advisor
I have however challenged them on a number of things they do not know the answers to etc
Think like a criminal to catch a criminal and assume everyone is stealing.
Due diligence is what you learn in accounts and I have thought like this since I was 20 years old.
Always think for the possibilities and you will be fine. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I had trouble with them at one point - I had recent work history, I was always well presented when going to the job centre and am extremely polite and well mannered (even remarked upon in my exit report from the WP). I always took more steps and applied for more jobs than on my job seekers agreement. I was also training, doing work experience and was not averse to being assigned a community placement.
You can not take personal experience to mean that everybody else is wrong. I do not doubt you have been treated fairly, there are definitely some decent staff in the DWP who do their job with a large degree of professionalism.0 -
It's not about being treated fairly its letting them treat you the way they can as you have tripped yourself upKevInChester wrote: »I had trouble with them at one point - I had recent work history, I was always well presented when going to the job centre and am extremely polite and well mannered (even remarked upon in my exit report from the WP). You do realise that for some the entire process of having to constantly be vigilant and on guard can be mentally fatiguing, especially when they are in some instances being deliberately tripped up.
Regardless it doesn't mean you have to find it humorous that somebody hasn't been quite as rigorous as you have.0 -
Exactly ive been battling with an incompetent advisor since 21 november. He has finally said you have no faith in me do you so he knows.
i cannot remember everything. I did write the jobs in my notebook but i didnt take a photocopy. It was my first time back from the wp which was different so i didnt know all the ropes and was taken advantage off by a little hitler.
we shouldnt have to take photocopies and anyway i cant afforc to take photcopies of everything.
ap you come across as someone that keeps trying to be clever, instead of thinking of a possible helpful solution you take pleasure in asking questions and running people down. That in itself is a fault.:footie:0 -
