remember too they would have to have allowed a fair about of time for you to apply for these jobs, check the dates on the oldest one.

I'm not sure how these things work but deffo worth fighting it as they could back down if the adviser has not listed correctly what they are accusing you of, sound to me they have just said you could have applied for 200 jobs, but have not listed what those jobs were so you can not show why they could have been unsuitable...but remember they only have to find one job you could have went for and didn't to sanction you, it's so unfair the system...guess what I'm saying is don't get your hopes up to much and try and get in place some other

help in case the money doesn't get paid, such as food banks

and friends and family and hardship payments.

they are hoping i wont challenge it i expect.

Yes asked him today waiting for response.
Today? Weren't you notified of this 10 days ago? Why only ask for the proof now?

Why did you wait to get a letter saying 200? You should have just asked 10 days ago for the proof and put in all in writing.

I know I would have gone straight to the JC if a letter arrived (not sure how you were notified to begin with) or if told that in person would have lodged a complaint there and then and then asked for proof.

The advisor is unwilling to discuss it with me he said i must go through the appeal process which is what im doing. I will be asking for proof in my appeal letter.

I doubt very much they will be able to prove it. Im not out of time yet. Have a month from yesterdays letter to write to them.

its pathetic itz costing them time and money to argue with people. All these admin costs.:o

You don't need to go to the advisor but the manager of the JC to ask for proof as they will have to provide this to get you sanctioned.

I still don't get what you have been doing about it for 10 days.

You can request to see any referral documentation that was sent, it will show every job whether 20 or 200 in a list.

My guess I they done a search 200 came up but there is a % column and unless your 100% matched they don't apply to you.

I'd speak to the jcp manager when requesting documentation and request to show how the jobs are definitively matching of your JSAG, from everything to distance, hours, soc code (job code 4 digits like 4150 for admin).

Any discrepancies means it's not matching and not acceptable for a disallowance, if you've just been disallowed ask for a recon and state the reasons why, literally start your letter I wish to ask for a RECONSIDERATION because.... If not they'll 9 times out of 10 automatically send it down appeal and can take a while,

Dependant on outcome of reconsideration, you can then appeal and go down that route.

But you are definietely within your rights to see the documentation, and did you sign your declarations if you did they shouldn't be disallowing you, it's in their own guidance to do that last once they are happy.... Obv they weren't but if they let you sign then they shouldn't have referred you.
There is no percentage column, we no longer use lms for jobsearch. We also dont need to list specific jobs just put 4 on indeed, 5 on ujm etc etc

its seems you haven't worked at jcp for quite a time things have changed a lot.

If the customer didnt sign the decleration the ase refferal would be sent blank and dissallowed , then the claim closed after 5 days for failing to provide a deceleration

But if you don't need to provide proof of the jobs you say the claimant could have applied for, that leaves it wide open for a dishonest adviser to abuse the system. The claimant has no hope :( Yes some may deserve the sanction but everyone should be entitled to a fair 'trial'

what do you mean by you don't have to list specific jobs? do you mean when referring the claimant for a sanction? surely you would have to list the specific job so the claimant can defend against it.

I have not been referred but I have to write down all the jobs and ref numbers etc or they will ask for proof this job is real as they have no way to look it up etc
