I had a boiler installed by a shade greener. they have done nothing but lie and cheat their way through the last three years with me. they even threatened to remove the boiler, which as a white good is illegal.
I paid cash to a debt collector a mr nick morley, has anyone any experience with him? they said they never received it. they said they don't take cash payments. I have a complaint in with the ombudsman now, and winning. has anyone paid cash to a debt collector regarding a shade greener? contact me if they have cmoz79.cm@googlemail.com their debt collector threatened to drill my locks and pretended to be from the courts...please get in touch with your experience.
I will be suing them once the ombudsman makes her decision. I have aready had a report done and they find them at fault and they to pay me £500, which we both declined...them and me, they even took me to court because they got their figures wrong by £300.

They are scum. They left messy pipework and wouldn't come and sort it, gas pipe horizontal along the middle of the hallway wall etc. I could have done a better job and I'm crap at DIY. Their fitters were clearly the left overs that couldn't make it on their own in the real world. They blocked me from all their social media too.
The company seems to have been split up into different companies now and the part that owns my contract don't do any new business.

I has a boiler installed in 2014, The company and the boiler man explained it was a 3 year contract. I read the. 2 page contract which stated that this is my property and I provide permission for the boiler to be installed. I have been paying approximately £47 a month. After 3 years I stopped the direct debit payments as I had over paid by a few months. I was then informed over the phone it is a 10 year contract and when we asked for a copy of the contract it was a 14 year contract. At the end of 14 years I would have paid almost £9000. However my 2 page contract had extended to a 12 page contract. All 12 pages are numbered page 12. The contract also stated that an entry will go on my land registry. I followed the complaints procedure and asked them to listen in to the calls and I would like a full investigation as fraudulent activities have taken place and my contract has extended from 2 pages to 12 pages. The page with my signature has no terms and conditions so I have basically signed a blank contract. The complaints procedure has been useless because I'm hitting a brick wall as they made me sign an open contract and their threatening court proceedings as well as charging an administrative fee with every letter they send. I have complaint to the Ombudsman and not heard anything. I called citizen advise but hey basically told me that I have signed a blank contract and I prove anything. I am stuck now, has anyone else had the same problem? My advise it to Please obtain a copy of your contracts and you will be shocked. I don't know what to do now besides pay the bill, any advise would be great.:(:(:(0

@RashRay
My contract was a thin A4 glossy book and I signed the back page. I do remember when the sales guy game in 2014 he never mentioned about a charge going on Land Registry nor does the contract I signed state this. Only found out about the LR charge a few months later when I got a property alert from LR.
I do plan to buy out the boiler soon when my finances are in order so I can be rid of them.0 -
Hi Lee UK
I had thought I have brought the boiler but unfortunately it's not mine for another 13 years. Do u know how many years your contract is?0 -
@RashRay
My contract is for 10 years. I'm 3.5 years through it now. You can pay the contract off whenever you like you just need to get a settlement figure from them first, I think I remember reading a while ago that the settlement figure will be less than if you had carried on paying each month for 10 years as that is supposed to cover servicing and maintenance too which you wouldn't get once paid off.0 -
I too have been conned into there 14 year contract. I am racking my brains thinking how could I have fell for this. If you phone them with a problem. They are telling you you will be charged if it is not a fault to do with the boiler. All the money you are paying for maintenance, what maintainence. All I get is a service yearly. They are theiveing company. At the end of the 14 years the boiler is not yours. You still have to pay. Surely we could get money back for maintence. We have paid for but not had,they guantee 10years so whyvare we paying for it. I want my money back.0

It's not unusual for a service provider to charge for a call out that is not a fault. Customer education or misuse is not maintenance.
What exactly is the problem you are having?0 -
Boiler been in 4 years now and they have sent me an "invoice" in the post for £4.5K because I missed a service even though they have never contacted me to say it's due. The invoice goes on to say that it needs to be paid within 14 days to avoid removal of the boiler.
If that is the case, it would be cheaper to let them do that and then get a new boiler installed locally for less than half that. :rotfl:0 -
I went for the Everlasting Boilers offer in 2014 because of poor credit history and thought that the monthly payment including all servicing and repairs wasn't too bad.
Fast forward to this year and boiler had an issue due to a blocked pipe from the boiler coil to the heat exchanger, with debris in the heat exchanger too, causing fluctuating hot water temperatures.
9 days to get someone in to fix the boiler isn't acceptable when the contract information states 24 hours. Add to this that they want me to pay for the repair when my contract states they pay for all replacement parts is a bit much. It's now in the hands of the Financial Ombudsman.
Please people, avoid this company if you can. Wish I'd had the money to replace my old myself. I've bought and fitted a new boiler for a family member for under £1000 before. Only additional cost was £50 to get a gas safe engineer to connect the gas pipe each end and do the safety checks.0
