Went into the Newcastle under Lyme branch late yesterday not expecting to see anything left but there were a few odds and ends including a lot of baby toys (and the usual photo albums/frames), my youngest is 3 now so a bit past that but I got her a set of circus stampers for £1.80, also a beard trimmer down to £9 and a Bayliss hair dryer set for the missus/elder daughter reduced from £70 to £15.Out on blue six..
It's Chips and Jackets, Peas and Trousers.0 -

Have just picked up my order (placed 6.30am Wed) and everything present and correct. Impressed with speed, as normally not ready for collection this early in the day!“Rain drops are not the ones who bring the clouds.”0

See this make-up mirror is now reduced from 49.99 to 19.99. Bargain not - it was 15.99 in December.
Oh My Gawd.......... are they still trying to sell those mirrors! My daughter (and several other people I know) got one in the sales last January for £15.
they really must have over bought on them.0 -
well here is a good one. i put a few things in my basket yesterday morning, then thought I would go to the store instead. This morning looking at the sale none of my item were listed but I noticed items were still in my basket so I placed the order expecting it to be cancelled but I have just had confirmation and delivery date...How does that work delivery to home!0

Thing is if people are willing to buy, then why not try and make a few pennies. For some people buying an individual item suits them (can't figure out why myself) and they obviously think they are are saving themselves a few pennies too, so WIN/WIN surely ?
I've been very good myself and bought £60 in goods that will do for b'days, not tempted to buy more than i need this year can't be doing with the clutter.
Yes I suppose there's no point keeping things you won't use, may as well sell on to make some pennies, but selling one item for £7 when the whole set was £6 seems a bit much! Needless to say nobody bought them at those prices. Maybe they would've done if I hadn't pointed out they are now 70% off lol but I don't think so.
I've often bought too many of these sets in the sale in previous years and sold them on a few months later if I know I'm not going to use them but I wouldn't triple the price I paid for it!0
