I've put a (much smaller) order in today online to be delivered to the store and I've received the confirmation email already whilst I'm still waiting for the one from 5am yesterday. Makes me wonder if they're processing the 'collect from store' orders before they do the others.


Next year I think I'll do 'collect from store' for my sales order just to compare.

As for the sale price, Boots are copying supermarket marketing tactics. Don't they realise that some customers like us (old Bootsers) would remember the prices 1-2 years back?!

Just checked my emails this morning and I've now got the 'partially dispatched' email. I checked out around 5.30am using my points, but also went to the store at 9am to get the things i couldn't get online. Wish id not bothered with online now as I didn't have much money to spend and could have used those points in store.

Annoying now things have come back in stock suddenly. When i checked out i bought enough to get free delivery, but if my missing items come back in stock i don't think ill bother if I have to pay postage.

Very pleasantly surprised in the Crawley store yesterday. People were very polite and moving aside to let others look on the shelves. Lots of people had multiple baskets of items, but didn't see anyone clearing whole shelves.
Staff also very helpful and plenty of them walking around store handing out blue baskets. Most of the stock had gone by 9am though.


Went into Horsham at 11am and hardly anything left, but I did manage to pick up one of last three S&G Yule Monty sets and Duplo farm animals.

My order from yesterday early hours has been dispatched, this e mail I received at 10.47 am but still received the automated e mail like everyone else around 3 pm. However my order says dispatched and had no cancellation. Don't know what to think and I won't get to store till tommorow afternoon once hubby is home from work.

Anyway I ordered again this morning around 7 am the few things I could not manage to add to basket yesterday. Received confirmation. If everything gets delivered then I have managed to get everything I wanted.

As for receiving last years Xmas stock. Both my closest friends were given from me for their birthdays the gifts sets. Once friend received the big sanctuary gift set with flowers and wine and the other received the big champneys gift set with flowers and wine and both were thrilled. I don't usually buy christmas presents apart from my husband and children as it gets too expensive but I like to spoil my my friends on their birthdays. They certainly don't think they were tat, one of my friends went to the sanctuary spa in London for her birthday it was a gift from her husband so my gift of the box set was very well received. However each to their own, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Obviously they won't get the same this year as can't give same presents but last year they were very well received.

My second order this morning was the No 7 bits that were adding to the basket so fingers crossed they get delivered. However there was no way I would attempt instore after hearing the horror stories. I like a bargin and I can be quite committed to money saving and making the pound stretch further but I have my limits lol x
