Does anyone think the boots sale wasn't very god this time.

I find the quality of most sets to be 'cheap' - yes large, eye catching presentation and packaging but containing poor quality small size items . On the one hand, well done to Boots Suppliers for clever packaging and reduced content sizes but surely with many shoppers making multi purchases of same items (bordering on greedy behaviour), boots should stagger reductions to say 60% initially.

Love to see how many readers agree with me - you know its true but don't really want to admit it.

I agree with you. I've seen posts on here that seem like some wear their greed like a badge of honor under the guise of money saving.

Personally, the Boots sale doesn't interest me, I'd be mortified giving someone a gift set or the like which was so obviously last year's left over Xmas stock.

I work out how much it would cost me to buy the individual items if they were just on 3 for 2 on the shelf if they are things I use regular one of the S and G sets worked out quite well and the others are smaller products so don't and so I don't buy for the fancy bag. I tend to get make up sets and nail varnish as these work out good value out of the packaging considering how much individual items can be. I buy a few presses but not usually the larger items as I agree it is all packaging when you open them and the bottles are often 3/4 size or 1/2 size in some cases. therefore I always check product size as well to work out the actual value I am getting. Just placed an order on line as lots of things that were out of stock yesterday are now available. Cheered me up as I wasn't very successful in store despite getting there early. All in all will have spent £30.

I don’t believe what anyone posts about their bargains unless they upload the receipt.

I want to racially abuse anyone who is not English who got more than me.

I’m jealous of anyone who got something that I didn’t.

I’m not interested in the Boots sale but I still want to moan about it.

Same here! I wonder if its because there were a few items that i tried to add to my basket and it said the item had been added, but they failed to appear in the basket?

Mmm maybe things are not as good as they seem but things that were successfully added to the basket, in reality didn't get added and only now once I have my confirmation have I noticed! Grrr!
