Hi peeps:j I have been following this thread for ages, and love hearing what you're all up to! JKS I particularly enjoy your posts, and totally understand how tedious it is , to be constantly questioned about your single status! I have been married twice, had a few relationships, one lovely DD, and now have two gorg DGC :) I have a full life, and am really happy doing what I want, when I want! However some people seem to think the world is like Noah's Ark, and we all come in twos :rotfl::rotfl:
Tbh when I listen to my friends moaning on about their partners, I am glad I have so much freedom:D

    Hi everyone.

Have just turned down a house offer which wanted me to be out before Christmas. I turned it down explaining that what with probate and not having found somewhere I liked and wanted to buy - it was not feasible and rather than let someone down I would rather decline the offer.

Got a phone call from EA and they have upped the offer slightly and said they will not put a time pressure on me at all! Even if it can't be completed till February that will be fine!

I talked to family and have accepted. They have found a property online they think would be worth looking at as it is a chalet bungalow but appears as a "house" so was not showing up on a quick search.

    JKS

I love your writing style too and loved your attitude to "it will happen when you least expect it"

    Hugs to all

I've noticed that too sometimes candygirl...2 of my friends have had major problems with their husbands behaviour recently, just because they're coupled up doesn't mean their lives are all rainbows and roses.

elona, that sounds very positive re the house move, hope you like the chalet bungalow.

Do you think it's ever going to stop raining? So glad I'm not working today and can stay at home :)
(had to work last Saturday though...wore my new "water resistant" trousers...they gave up resisting about lunch time :rotfl:)

I just do a bit of lurking these days and try not to spend too much time on the computer, but thought I would drop by and let you know I was thinking of you.

You really should treat yourself in some way, I wanted to be out of the country and treated myself to a week in Amalfi, had a great time and the evening of my birthday was quite memorable - drinking cocktails in the company of a gay tour guide and a very handsome italian waiter :D

I dip in and out of MSE and just found this thread, thought it might be fun to mingle with you all as you seem a nice bunch. I have been single for over 4 years since ex hubby left, i have 2 daughters .. I cannot be bothered with dating, is it just me?

i keep saying i am going to grow old and become "the mad cat woman", but i am not that keen on cats, so i will just be the mad woman" instead.
