Baby things - as my breeding days are over! :rotfl:
Wedding things - as I'd have to change my user name to Miss Havisham "The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming"0 -
I do not enter any competition that uses an e-mail address at google.com, gmail.com, yahoo.com etc as these accounts can be compromised very easily and our addresses/information harvested. Also it's possible the comp is fake of course. Paranoid? Perhaps...0

It's been really interesting reading these lists so thanks for sharing.
I'm new to comping - started at the end of December 2013. Haven't had any wins as yet but I'm determined to carry on comping.
The comps I have been avoiding tend to be the following:
Any CD / DVD type competition
Competitions on FB - Don't really want to start annoying my friends
Rafflecopters - I did a few to begin with but I think I'll tend to steer clear of them.
iPad / Kindle comps
Childrens items - I don't have children so would only consider entering this kind of comp if I know its something my niece or friends children would like.
Anything that requires writing short stories or competitions any kind of participation in TV / Radio - I'd be useless!
Concert tickets / meet and greets... unless its Justin Timberlake!
Any sport competition unless its football for the DH.
Mag dailies - still haven't got around to checking them out.
The majority of competitions I have been entering so far have been holiday / travel, fashion and beauty.
Good luck to all entering comps, really hoping to start posting comps soon, everyone I've found so far has already been listed - Thanks to all those who post :-)0 -
Anything wedding related as ours has been put on the back burner.
Any holidays for the forseeable future as we've decided not to travel for the first year of our newborns life except to visit relatives.
Anything sport related that isn't gym equipment.
Anything that isn't worth the travel to a location e.g. dvd's to be picked up from a shopping centre 100 miles away...
Spa days...couldn't think of anything worse than being pampered (prodded and coated in random sticky substances) in the pursuit of relaxation.
Anything on a site for over 50's such as Gransnet. I'm not old enough to enter those comps.
Competitions that ask for a caption. I have no imagination for those sort of things. Also competitions that ask for recipes as I'm a rubbish cook and competitions that have a leaderboard that I have to top as I'm generally pretty rubbish at those games and people find a way to cheat.0 -

My list is..
Comps aimed at kids - Firstly i'm 22 and secondly i remember being 8 and winning a competition and being so happy so i'd hate to think i'm taking that away from a child!
Wedding Comps- I don't even have a boyfriend let alone a fiance, so i stay well clear haha!
Facebook like and shares- I don't like how spammy they are and those competitions don't actually follows the t&c's of fb- I don't want my account blocked!
Spa days- I know these are supposed to be relaxing but not for me i'm afraid!
Baby items used to be on my list as well but as i've got a few friends pregnant  i've added them to my comping list as well!
I'm glad i've got quite a few that i don't enter, otherwise i'd be here 8 hours a day hah!
That just made me laugh so loud I woke the baby up...:rotfl::smileyhea Thank you to all that post comps - may the Comping Fairy return your time and generosity doubled!:smileyheaLaughing at our own mistakes can lengthen our own life. Laughing at someone else’s can shorten it.Pronoia - the wonderful feeling that everyone is conspiring to help you!!

My list of don'ts is pretty similar:
Events/Spa-days/Tickets/Holidays: I'm disabled, and going anywhere is a huge logistical effort. No way would I be able to go on someone else's schedule.
CDs/DVDs: If I want a movie or album, I'll buy it. Unless it's an expensive box set thingie, I don't really see the point.
Kids/Wedding/Sports/Equestrian/Golf: Irrelevant to my life.
Cosmetics of any sort: Don't use makeup, and E45 works fine for moisturiser.
Facebook: I did a few over Advent, but mostly I don't like spamming my family.
Books: I can't stand paper books anymore. Ebooks are superior in so many ways - easier to hold, large font sizes, instant word definitions, and take up no physical space.
Clothes: So many stores don't go larger than size 16 that I can't be bothered anymore to check before entering. If I know they carry plus sizes, I might enter.
Shoes: One advantage of using a wheelchair is that my shoes never wear out.
Not the target demographic: This one might seem a bit silly, but if I can tell I'm not the target market at all for the company holding the competition, I tend not to enter. If it's a giveaway on a Mommy Blog, even if it's for a general purpose prize, I kinda feel like it should go to someone who is in that blog's target audience. If it's a local business that isn't anywhere near me, ditto. That's probably a bit over-scrupulous of me, but I can't enter everything, and it's as good a way to rule out comps as any.
Due date at the end of the month: So many comps end on 31/1 or whatever that I simply can't get to them all. So a competition that might have gotten entered had it ended on the 8th or the 20th might get passed by in the crowd if it ends at the end of the month.Hi, I'm Mich
I won a years supply of Comfort fabric softener in November 2013 - more than half remains...
2015 survey proceeds £115.360 -
Don't enter anything for babies or weddings, tickets for festivals, dvd's, sporting events or diet stuff.
Also off my list are:- holidays from any airport south of Manchester - too far to travel otherwise. Holidays less than 7 days - not worth the hassle of travelling!
Don't understand pinterest/blogs or google + so never enter those ones either:rotfl:
Wishlist
Roberts radio, I Phone, Philips Lumea, Clarisonic Mia, Holiday, cash/vouchers0 -
Don't enter anything that would mean I'd have to get on a plane. Surprised to see how many peeps here have anxiety. I also have an anxiety disorder and a panic disorder which is why I work from home. Ever seen that Simpsons ep where Marge is running up and down the plane screaming "Lemme off! Lemme off! Lemme off!) That would be me without the blue rinse.
Also don't enter most rafflecopters because they drive me insane lol Unless its for a really good prize. A lot though make you jump through hoops for prizes the blog owner has found in the back of her cupboard.
Don't enter for books cos can't get rid of the ones i do have.
Spa days because it doesn't appeal to me
Tickets for most things unless local to me in Devon
Cash or vouchers worth £20 or less.
Anything to do with sport unless its a chance to sit on Lewis Hamilton's lap.
Any voting comps they drive me insane.
Anything to do with posting photos of kids or grandkids online until they're old enough to decide if they want it up there.
Prizes for a car because they always want a full license and I only have a provisional. That one drives me even more nuts.
Have to admit i am getting really fed up now with twitter and facebook taking up the majority of comps it seems and am very tempted to stop them too as rarely win with them.August-September 2017: Lots of stuff

Reading this made me realise I enter a lot fewer than I thought.
Rafflecopters are tedious, as are pinterest or anything that requires photos.
Not interested in fishing and only go for stormwear equestrian stuff.
Holidays for 2 nights in Scotland , though I would love to go to the Isles.
Most tickets - although occasionally i think they are worth travelling for.
Spa days- seem to be loads of these- not my thing at all.
Specific baby or wedding ones.
Always check out the clothes/bags/shoes - most are for the young'uns.
Things i or family don't have a use for. I once entered for an aga , then wondered what on earth I would do if I won it.
mm no wonder I don't win much!!!0 -
I don't enter for books - I have more books than I can read in a lifetime thanks to my Kindle.
I don't enter for DVDs/Blu-rays - My library is huge as is and I can get any movie I want.
I don't enter for couples holidays - I have a young child, which means no point in entering for couples only.
I don't enter for any tickets - Can't go and not interested ... unless it's for Alton Towers!
I don't enter Equestrian comps - no horse.
I DO enter for gadgets, cash, art supplies and that sort.0
