Which competitions DON'T you enter and why?

When I stop and think about it, the proportion of what I don't enter to what I actually do, is massive! I spend a lot of timing red X'ing comps that don't interest me - which includes:
- Anything on Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram as I don't use them.
- Facebook L&S, unless it is for a prize I'd desperately love.
- Holidays for two or family holidays for four - have three kids and we wouldn't leave them at home so no couple only holidays.
- Weekend breaks that are more than an hour or so away from me
- Anything to do with babies, animals, fishing, crafts etc
- DVDs of films I've never heard of or series I didn't like
- Blu Rays as I don't have a player
- Big effort comps
- Tickets, as most seem to be either in London, or at short notice, or just for artists I'm not interested in!
- Radio comps that involve going on air (did this once unintentionally and it was a nightmare!)
So that actually leaves very little for me to enter! I reckon I must only enter about 10% of listed compsBut still I plod on in the hope of actually winning something!

Holidays abroad- for the same reason- damn panic attacks!!
Usually anything that I can't bring my 22 month old to ( or that we can't get a babysitter for/afford the train fare/hotel!)
Horsey stuff (no horse!)
Depends whether I am being uber lazy, but if I haven't registered already on the site it has to be an uber amazing prize for me to register, as I am always short on time!
fb L&S - Unless uber amazing prize then I don't like filling up the news feed!
Fishing
Anything for a new kitchen/bathroom as we rent
Pininterest - I have it but haven't had time to figure out how it works, Instagram- same
Over 50s
Student ones
Huge effort ones (no time)
Good luck this year everyonexx

I don't enter
anything on Facebook or Twitter or Rafflecopter
Holidays without flights or transport
One night breaks unless close by
Blue-raysTo create more positive results in your life, replace
'IF ONLY' with next time0 -
I only enter things worth £100 or more (as far as I can guess from the title)
Work full time and even with this rule it probably takes me an average of 45 min - an hour a day to keep on top of all the comps! (Mondays are definitely the busiest comping days!)
Also don't do Twitter or FB comps0 -
I don't enter any comps that have 'effort' in the thread title. I don't mind surveys, but don't like comps where you have to submit a story, photo or video. I also don't enter holiday comps, spa breaks or anything like that.0

I don't enter ...
- family holidays, as there's just the 2 of us.
- wedding competitions as we have no ambition to wed.
- spa day/break competitions as I can't imagine anything worse!
- sporting events/tickets as we have no interest in sport
- Shopping sprees that include a personal shopper :rotfl::rotfl:
I don't enter most ticket comps as the events tend to be miles away from here, I only enter for toys etc if it's something my niece or nephews would like. Due to working full time, there's tonnes of others I don't enter - when I have time to comp, I just pick out the ones I really want to win and enter those.Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -
I dont enter spa days or personal shopping, couldn't bear someone taking me around telling me what to buy! Holidays for two people, I have entered a few family ones but my middle boy is nearly 18 so probably wouldnt be able to go! I joined twitter but have not had much luck so maybe give it a miss now. Dont like the facebook ones when they pick someone after 1000 likes, not much chance of winning there. I don't enter for baby prizes or golf or horses or for breaks and meals miles away from home.
I do want to win tablets, tvs, ipads, laptops, money, vouchers, phones, shopping vouchers, restaurant vouchers, smellies, perfume, furniture, booze, hampers, tickets (theatre, sports, theme parks, cinema, London attractions), camcorder, big and small electrical devices!, :rotfl:0 -
I'm really not fussy with what I enter. I will enter for anything and everything, as everything has it's uses.
Except ingastram (Or what ever it is), and rafflecopter - too many things I don't fully understand or know how to use.0 -
I enjoyed reading everyone elses lists...
I would have to say that I stay away from:
CDs and DVDs - don't use them
Holidays for 2 or 6 - we are a family of 4
Chocolate - hubby works for a chocolate factory
Sweets - not sweet tooth in this household
For the life of me, I can't think of anything else right now.
:A:j Thanx to all who post the comps!!! :j0
