    Hi all!

Sorry about dropping off the face of the planet, had a "few" wifi problems which are ongoing so there's a chance I may disappear for a few days on end :(

Sooo... Bit of an update :)

Finances? No more debts but my money for the month has taken a hit as I'm now looking again at having to pay for private physio and acupuncture :( my last session at the hospital was on Tuesday and that's it until Tuesday April the 1st which is a bit of a joke (geddit, April 1st? oh fuggeddit lol) I'm possibly going to start to struggle a bit but I have some of my emergency fund left and I've spoken to SC and they're happy to discuss a reduction in next months (and other months going forward) depending on my circumstances so I'm not stressing over that at least!

As for my back? every day is like the day before... I'm off Tramadol and back on co-codamol and the difference is dramatic! I'm now back to where I was prior to starting Tramadol so while it's still painful, if I'm careful it's manageable not like it was the week before :)

I'm also in a little trouble because while on Tramadol I was opening everyones post, I say that but what I was actually doing was ripping open the envelope before putting it down to open the next one! Not reading them (small mercies) but it took a little explaining to my housemates (who have been very understanding) but I also opened my brothers birthday cards... Whoops... Luckily because I also opened my other brothers post while I was at his house in front of him he could back up my story LOL that and spreading margarine on my arm LOL who knows what the hell I was thinking!?!?!

Anyhoo, I'll be seeing the doc again next week sometime as my sick note (or fit to work note as it's now called) runs out soon... Work is still being great about the whole thing and I now have access to some actual work to do - or I would if the damn broadband wasn't dropping out every five minutes GRRRRRR I'm not sure what's next but the last time I spoke to my GP she sounded pretty miffed with my physiotherapist and asked me to ask her to call the surgery to discuss my recovery? I passed on the message, I guess I'll find out next week if she actually bothered :S

Ummmm... What else? Ummmm... I think that's about it? Life isn't exactly exciting at the moment with everything taking place within probably a 1000m radius LOL

Now I'm gonna reply to some posts before my connection conks out again!

I'm back! Sorry all, my lappy broke and I had no money to get a replacement until now and this is a second hand rather "old skool" one LOL

So, here is a quick update...

My back is still jiggered, it's been 4 months now and while I did start to see some improvement in the last week it seems to have gotten worse? Hopefully it's just a blip but there have been a couple of "dude, where's the leg?" days... Occupational Health from work have been in touch and have done a phone assessment after which I was told I'm not fit for work and will arrange a face to face session to see what they can do to try to help me which sounds encouraging :)

Generally life is ddddddddddddduuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll as I'm spending almost my entire time in my room but I have some new housemates and they have been really good at coming to have a chat and stuff which is nice :) seeing as my family and friends have all but abandoned me (gits :( LOL) and despite having a work laptop which allows me access to virtually NOTHING and almost no work is coming through I'm reading, sleeping and watching tv mostly YAWN!

Now on to finances! Hmmm... Well, I've not got into more debt which is something but I'm now starting to lose money as I've been off ill from work for so long :( I knew it was coming but now it's hear it means that I'll be down around £400 pcm until I get back to work which obviously means my DMP payments will take a hit blah blah blah :( so annoying but, hey, it could be worse I guess :) at least I can get a review by SC and not have to worry about being chased for my debts and it is only a temporary thing...

And that's me! What have I missed? anything fun?

Here comes the summer sun, it burns my skin, I'm on fiii iiiii iiiireeee eee!!!! Two songs mashed Monkeyballs stylee!!!! Britain ain't got talent, I have it all!!!!! NOT ;)

So, here we are again... Six weeks ago I was signed off by my GP as being able to work under certain circumstances with the assumption I'd be able to get back before the note ran out...

    LOL

I'm still having the same problems, to a degree they're worse but not hugely and now I have the Occupational Health people from work telling me (via telephone assessment) that I'm not fit for work and looking to book a face to face assessment sometime in the next 3-4 weeks... Boize moi...

So, this year I've lost Christmas, New Years, Easter, my birthday and now Summer is drifting near LOL I'm only 38!!!!

Worse still, I'm now starting to realise the value of friends and relationships in general and am starting to think I need to find a Mrs Monkeyballs? LOL - ok, in title only for the moment not to actually BE my "Mrs" I'm not there yet ;) but who could love a cripple?

Sure, I'm incredibly handsome and charming and witty and modest but I also walk the streets of York like the Hunchback of Notre dame swearing under my breath as I go "the bells, the bells, the frikken Minster bells!" LOL

Oh woe is me, what is a boy to do! Certainly not flirt with the 21 year old asian woman in the shop a couple of doors down that's for sure ;) I'm such a tart LOL

Ok, going out for my morning constitutional and plan on picking up a box of choccies for my GP so she'll be less inclined to have me escorted off the premises for being an annoying whimp!!!! LOL laters all
