Morning all
Tuesday 04/03/14:
Tramadol is kicking by buttski!!! What seems to happen is I take them three times a day and about half an hour later I have an out of body experience whereby I can see myself doing daft things but am completely unable to do anything about it! Then about three hours later they start to wear off.
So far I have made a cup of tea by adding tea bags and milk to the kettle, tried to buy a newspaper with my keys, gave my mum £20 using single sheets of loo roll and (apparently) microwaved a bowl of soup six times! among other things...
They do seem to be working better than co-codamol but I do worry that I'm doing more harm than good to my back but I've only been using them since Friday and was told that I'd have a period of "acclimatisation" so while I'm signed off I'll go with it for the moment
No changes to my finances though which is a shame but I've spent a load of cash on private physio and acupuncture so it's not exactly been wasted... Maybe I could sell my Tramadol and use the proceeds to offer F&F's? Hmmm... JOKE!!!

Thursday 06/03/14;
It's been a couple of days since I last posted, I'm not very good at this diary lark LOL
Changes to my finances? Big fat zero LOL but they're better than they have been in a looooong time and I've not made them any worse since my last DMP payment :money:
Other than that? PAIN!I've had a rubbish couple of days and I don't know why? I've been having problems sleeping which takes some doing considering the painkillers and anti-depressant cocktail I take before I go to bed and that is basically writing off my morning as I literally don't feel capable of walking too far so I don't want to tempt fate by pushing myself to do it...
That said, my afternoons are generally ok but I still feel achy and generally sorry for myself LOL I'm such a baby... But this afternoon I have an acupuncture session so I know that will help
I am however seriously losing track of time! I have to keep checking to see what day it is because I'm BORED BORED BORED...
I've done more surveys than I have ever done in my life, I rarely watch tv as it's all rubbish or repeats LOL I have a new hobby though which helps take the edge off... coin collecting! It's not exactly thrill a minute but since I found 2x Kew Gardens 50p's I'm obsessed!
I have cracked open my sealed pot challenge pot and looked at the history behind the designs (it's not very exciting as mostly they're all the same) but I have collected;
1. Half of the Olympic 50p's (there are 29 and I have 16),
2. A "rare" Olympic London 2012 to Rio 2016 £2 coin (going for a tenner on ebay) and
3. A "rare" 20p which has a blob on the Queens face which is apparently worth £30 but nobody even buys it for 99p + postage LOL oh, and
4. Have ordered a £20 coin from the Royal Mint which cost me £20 and is legal tender (so if I come to my senses I can cash it in at the bank) which is selling for up to £49.99 on ebay despite still being available on the Royal Mint website (???)
Well, it's better than nothing! I did sell one of my Kew Gardens 50p's though (the original beat up one) for £21.84 + £3 recorded p+p
I'm in the money...I'm in the money... :j

Hi Puzz,
Stalk awayit makes me feel wanted LOL
It's been a week now since I started Tramadol and honestly, it's not doing anything helpful anymoreit's just making me weirder than normal which takes some doing so I'm going to see my GP tomorrow and see what she has to say... I think I'll be better off going back to co-codamol but I'll leave it for the experts to decide.
The pain seems completely random, when I'm home just resting (for which you should read lying down) I'm mostly ok, I just need to change positions every now and again but when I start doing things then it flairs up but it can be anywhere between "PAIN PAIN PAIN" to "ooch, that hurts" LOL
It really is frustrating though because I'm seeing the year just run away while I'm stuck in my room (I live in a room in a shared house) and that's not me... I'm not a big socialiser but I like going walking around or jumping on the bike for hours at a time
Anyway, the past couple of days have been the worst for a few weeks and I don't know why? I don't think it's serious but it's doing my head in! I start feeling more positive and then something seems to knock me back down Grrr...
I know it's not permanent because I do feel like I'm getting better, it's just these knock backs - I wish I could predict which my good days were going to be so I could go into work on those days and make my apologies for my bad days if that makes sense?
I really, realllllly want to be able to hoover the floor in my room though LOL people have offered but my pride gets in the way so for the moment after doing my exercises I have to dust the bits off myself LOL
