When I was taking them, I was trying to do some work from home. I had to not speak to any clients and send emails to other colleagues for review first. It's just a bit bizarre but if taking them gets you rested enough to deal with your back pain, just warn people and take themMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. LOL
Yeah, It's taking a little longer to type than normal and I keep having to go back and edit them too because I'll use the wrong words in places...
I'm a little worried that I might be damaging my back and just not realising it though because I can feel a sort of grinding dentist in my back but at least I'm not walking around and around in circles all the time and doing weird shimmies when I stand still
Even if I have to switch back to co-codamol at least I'll have had a trippy weekend

Saturday 01/03/14:
The 1st of March? Really? !!!!!!? Where has the year gone!!!
Oh well, at least I now have drugs which appear to be helpingcertainly less pain but as I swallowed down my prescribed 100mg of Tramadol, 500mg of Naproxen and 30mg of Amitriptyline I realised I was going to start to rattle soon LOL
Anyway, moving on...
Reading about the Kew Garden 50ps and finding two of them (one in a pot and one in my change)and a reply I got when I mentioned it on the DMP Support thread got me looking into coin collecting as a hobby...
I went on Ebay to see what is actually floating about out there and was actually quite surprised!
There are "rare" 50p's (other than the Kew garden one) which are fetching up to £4-5 not including postage, £2 coins with misprints going for up to £10 and £20 coins which you can buy from the Royal Mint for £20 + p&p (for which there is a code anyway bringing it back to £20 per coin) which are being sold for up to £45!!!
One word, BONKERS!!!!
Because I have opted to hang fire from paying off some of my debts as previously planned I have bought a couple of the £20 coins to hold onto for the moment to see what happens... They're legal tender so I could go into the post office or bank at any time and get my money back so they are safe but may be an investment for the future... I'm not likely to start seeing these in my change anytime soon LOL plus the £165 for my own private therapy had something to do with the decision.
So, from now on before I put my change in my Sealed Pot (which I've not done much of for a while) I'll be checking my coins first! Who knows, I may get lucky and get a few which I can "improve" the value of

Still Saturday but I just realised something quite cool...
I started my DMP back in July last year (1st payment in August) and I have paid £4750 out of an original £18200 which means I'm a quarter way through my DMP!!!
Wow, that is awesome

That's an amazing amount
. Somebody on here said you don't feel like you've achieved much until you look back at how far you've come

Yup, I couldn't agree more!
I remember before I entered into my DMP struggling to balance the books, none of the balances were going down and it just felt like a bottomless pit into which I was pouring everything I earned
Looking back, it was almost as though I was a slave to my creditors - I was working all the hours I could get to pay them interest on monies which I'd borrowed quite some time back!
Now I can see the debt going down and on the horizon is a big rainbow which I should be able to reach if I just keep going...
