I'm sure it's worth the price of cup of coffee and by the way Redx - I like coffee!
@ Stroma - nice to see you back again after a few days being absent! - You were mentioned in Martin's weekly email!
Most certainly is.Proud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
Really was I ?
been off because I had an accident at home, went to a&e twice, and even managed to pick up a parking ticket from Vinci lol
Yep under How to save £1,000 in a day section on MSE main site:Wear uniform? Are you due a tax rebate? Reclaim up to £300. If you or anyone in your family normally slips on a work uniform (branded T-shirts to nurses' kits), and you wash it yourself, you may be due a lower ongoing tax bill & 4 years back, like forumite Stroma: "I'm happy, just heard the Revenue's giving me £120/year for washing my uniform." FULL help & templates: Uniform Tax Rebates
:(Sorry to hear of your accident - hope you're fully recovered and OK now.
LOL parking charge from VINCI - well if you're not sure how to challenge - then READ THE NEWBIE THEAD:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I say hats off to him.
A one stop guide to beat these scammers for the price of a pint in one place.
Bargain I say and I know he will put the pittance to good effect helping people beat these abusers of the courts system.
I certainly hope he takes my points on board as well, I have had more than my share of success in beating these people.Be happy...;)0 -
Thanks for that, I actually had a tax rebate as well of over £500 as they discovered I paid to much
The Vinci ticket is no problem lol , I plan to create a thread about it in a few days, just to document my journey through it for others (newbies) on here and how to deal with research and basically through to suing them if they don't drop this on appeal to them.
As for me, well I did my eye in so couldn't see properly for almost a week, then I did my back in and caught the flu as well, health-wise I'm getting there nowWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Just making a rare visit to say, just what do some people expect? I've downloaded and read Pranky's free book on court defences and found it very, very impressive. I've no doubt the paid-for (though not very much) book is just as worthwhile and would happily direct people to read it - and will happily pay for it myself if things ever look like turning ugly for me with PE.
Doubtless anyone could glean the same material from reading hundreds of threads and getting dozens of snippets of advice from multiple posters here, but working through all that (and, crucially, sorting the wheat from the chaff) really can't be worth the effort when Pranky has already done the hard work for you - unless you value your time very cheaply indeed.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Bazster - nice of you to drop by - hope you come back more frequently again.
IMO Your imput was of value (you did go off in a bit of a strop) for someone who is able to put up a good argument!0 -
PP has done a sterling job in reviewing, ordering and stitching together a large amount of information and producing what is an eminently useable guide. That effort is, ultimately, what is being paid for and in its scope may give something of an insight into the work going in off-forum to assisting in defending claims.
Whilst others may argue that the PP is gaining from this, at the rate charged (bear in mind that one half of the guide is free) he isn't going to get rich very quickly - if ever. Keep in mind that it was not very long ago that Sheila (BAO) indicated that at £10 a pop she was struggling to continue to be able to offer the service. Hers and the PP's involvement might strictly be defined as commercial but I seriously doubt there is much of a profit - and even if there is why should that be a bad thing? My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
The BMWs are alive and living on this MSE PPC thread [B'itchers, Moaners and Whiners].0

To those couple of moaners on here, Pranky has just announced that he has raised enough money from the sale of this guide to pay for a court transcript. So the money is being used for the common good and not to line Pranky's pockets. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
