I can only speak for my part of the world obviously, but Yodel are THE BEST around here for certain! :T
We have a lovely lad who's being delivering with them for years and - there's just nothing wrong with the times or delivery!

Sorry I know this is off-topic but this isn't correct. The price is the price no matter what - what does happen is that the interest you would have accrued had you not been on a BNPL deal is applied to the account, I know Very's interest rates are high but I doubt they are 100%
I doubt blah blah blah.
Its COMPOUNDED - so you pay interest on the interest each month going back a year.
If i spend £300 my available credit drops £600.
Stick to things you know - rather than things you 'doubt'.0 -
to give an example of BNPL costs
My purchase before cashback is £279
if I let it go past 12 months with clearing it,it is a cost of £596.93.
cashback deal gave 20% cashback on a BNPL purchase0 -
I like Yodels response to winning the award for WORST delivery service AGAIN !
Heres my short story: Item ordered from Amazon, out for delivey with Yodel.
Order laptop - check status, status is = Parcel delivered, signed for by 'HALL'.
I call Amazon, advise don't know who that is, and do not have the laptop either, amazon say Yodel need at least 2 days to ask there delivery guy where the parcel is. (2 days! FOR REAL!), its a Monday now, notes say it was delivered Friday.
2 Days later, amazon email me to say "Yodel delivered laptop to wrong address, delivery driver confirms he delivered to wrong address".
Sooooooooooooooo, YODEL deliver to wrong address, confirm its wrong, but give no advise as to corrective action!
I call Yodel and ask where they delivered it to so I can go collect it myself, Yodel confirm it was delivered to me ? !!!!!!! So the call centre think it has been delivered to me ?!!!!!!
I complain again to amazon to say I want my parcel and not a refund, on Thursday, I get a note to say driver is returning to site to pickup the parcel and to redeliver to me...
Thursday, no delivery. Friday, call Yodel, Call centre say its been delivered, cant speak to local depot, and they don't have the technology to contact the drivers, etc etc. !!!!!!!!!!!
Friday 6pm, still no delivery, no information.
Following week, a company calls me to say they have my parcel....
I go collect, case closed.
YODEL = WORST COURIER EVER, and the above 100% backup's the report.0 -

Sue
Actually my local driver, who as just been, is quite good.
Mine will have a chat, and is quite friendly. I get an email in the morning saying hes on his way.
I suppose they have more problems in areas where you don't always get the same driver.0 -

I don't know if you realise, but Amazon don't set the RRP. The manufacturer does, and it's the price Littlewoods was charging. What your post really says is 'I know nothing about retail'.
Plus littlewoods don't tend to subsidise their low price at the cost of the taxpayer0 -

The Barclay brothers (Littlewoods owners) are suing the taxpayer for £1Bn0 -
I've used Hermes a good number of times and find them excellent........:D
Zavvi seem to use them for the fragile stuff that won't fit through the letterbox now and this last courier was good but they seem to have multiple locals according to the size of the package. I'll put the week's delay of the one before, down to Christmas.
As for Yodel, I've escaped problems with them but I've only paid for Saturday delivery.0 -

Could you have been any more arrogant?! I doubt it...
I could quite easily have said "aren't".0 -
Collect+ (yodel) delivered a parcel to my customer and left it in the dustbin!0
