  • I am the proud mother of four children and believe me no amount of excersise or diet will ever rid you of the 'Apron' ,your a mum be proud of yourself. everyone in my family has a mummy tummy you'll probably have it for life but hey! you have a beautiful child and some nice big control panel nickers should take care of the rest. Glamourous eh? A tummy tuck is the only way to go but I believe it is a waste of money. Love yourself as you are.

I would have agreed with the above post up until very recently - i have two kids, aged 6 and 3 and had the belly thing the whole time (and i had one of those bellies that sticks out anyway, even when I was a size 6 (briefly! ha ha).

Anyway, recently i've really stepped up my activity levels, and stopped snacking in the evenings (which i realised I was just doing as a matter of course, without even thinking about it) - i now play badminton and do at least one body-jam class a week - and it's gone!

I also second the 'sucking it in when standing' thing - i've got very hard abs just from doing that! it's brilliant!

but remember my youngest is 3.5 - i wouldn't worry about it for a year or so - just enjoy your beautiful baby for now!

    xx
