If that is the case then I am now left with a stomach that looks like I am 9months pregnant!!!! I am really cheese off with this.

Once I have had my 8week check by doctor & nurser I will looking to to loosing all that fat.. the plus side is that all the eating I did made me produce a very heavy/healthy baby that can already roll over and hold his head up & he is just 1month old.

i dont know, id like to know the reason too as i still look preg to and some1 asked me if i was friday!

but i know my uterus is contracted as i went on a drip in hossie after i had my placenta manually removed to help reduce risk of infection and mw did check it a few times when i came home so i know thats now the cause of my belly

Maybe its where we overate in preg

Would love one of those rider things if the price comes down a bit :D

That rider thing looks good to me if it provides the exercise that is says it does. I would want to try it out first before purchasing. Give it a year or so and it will be in the department stores then another year it would be £200 or £150 in Argos. Does anyone know if that machine is any good?

I am getting my stuff ready for major weight loss. I have 5stone to loose and a pregnant looking (please note that my stomach does not look like a fat person stomach but one of a pregnant woman) stomach. I would say 1-2 years to gradually loose it all should do.

1, Make space for home exercise
    2. Sort out music for exercise
    3. sort out trainers
    4. Get in to habit of buying plenty of oats + fruit + salad.
    5. Start readying MSE weight loose thead.
    6. Don't get down about big belly.

You do lay down fat stores when pregnant. These get burned up making milk, but if you're not breastfeeding, you'll have to get rid of them by dieting/exercise once you feel up to it and the doctor says it is ok.

Pregnacy does stretch the skin and muscles, and it's not going to snap back into a washboard stomach instantly. They need time to settle back to normal and maybe some exercise to tone the muscles back up.

However sometimes the stretching is permanent and you're left with a sort of floppy pocket of skin that never goes flat. It's one of those things and unless you can afford tummy tuck surgery, there's nothing you can do about it.

If that is the case, you need to alter how you dress. Don't buy things that are tight or skimpy round your tummy as this will draw attention to it. Buy things that float over your tummy but draw attention to a better area that you are proud of, such as a nice bust or a nice pair of legs. With a bit of careful dressing, you can still be a "yummy mummy" :D
Here I go again on my own....

I think it's the luck of the draw. I've had three large babies and am 44 and still have a flat stomach. No C sections though, I know that plays a part.

I am also a total sloth ... but the one thing that I've done since my teens is to always hold my stomach tight when I'm standing.

My first pregnancy didn't show for 7 months because my muscles were so tight!

It takes abit of getting used to but then becomes automatic, it's like doing sit ups all day long. Worth a try :)
