we are not talking about me personally ok;)
a blind person needs to be familiar with their surroundings. Hone wise, thats fairly straight forward. They walk into a few walls and they learn.
Community and support are the important factots.
Put a blind person in a new town 10 miles away ... No friends, no community, no support...
You moght as well send them to the moon.
Without support, they will not learn where the shops are... Where the pub is, where the post office is ....
Blindness is terribly isolating unless you have support... End of
it isnt about money ... That is the least of the issues

So how do you quantify the state providing that?

the state wouldnt need to provide any7thing extra if. before forcing this policy through, they had made sure there qwere sufficient 1 bed properties or they had rules in place that meant that people who had no alternative, shou;ldnt be penalised

Sorry I'm another one that supports the "principle" of not paying for spare bedrooms. I'd rather it was tweaked but yes I support the principle.

ah, this pleases me, I would be sick to the stomach if someone like you approved of my comments.

Yes yes, you go back to your unpleasant comments and block out those who point out the scary reality by your ramblings. You don't need to be qualified when something this broken is in front of you, I am not fooled for a second.

northerntwo is right though. And your rants do seem to be getting worse.Getting angry about things won't solve your problems.

Perhaps you might do better joining the thread where they pay off their mortgages, so they can show you how to pay off some of your capital? Then you won't have to worry about your interest only mortgage and not having the means to repay the mortgage; and interest rate rises.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

    How does that work.
you talk of knowing areas, local friends etc
so what you really mean is a pocket of 1 bed properties surrounding existing properties

[brgpt yjod refprm was forced through, they should have made sure that the properties that people needed were actually available.

across the country as a whole there are insufficient 1 bed properties, in both the social and private sectors, to house everyone that needs a 1 bed place. and thats even if they are in a position to relocate.
so how can someone be penalised for having NO alternative?[/B]

How can they be penalised, well ask anyone who needs one who only has access to half the housing stock. It seems many are being penalised.
