hmm another one who for some reason thinks they should be the one to decide.

How about no? How about you show your a capable human and divert your energies towards those who are disabled, and not just the ones you deem not to be?

another broken response, yikes. What on earth goes through someone's head who thinks I care about their support? this is about you and your support for a policy which affects the disabled, apparently your quite fine with this. I suggest you focus your energies on the issues much closer to home. Normal, balanced and capable people do not form such views.
that is the issue i have with confuseddot.
they have recently been awarded PIP, but instead of them being supportive toward other disabled peoplke.... it seems a case of 'i'm OK, you sort yourself out'....

Ok so are missing the point again, never mind each to their own, I will not lower myself to your level.

There is no evidence to back up that this policy effects more "disabled" people than anyone else. But why let the facts get in the way with a good rant.
Play nice  Just because I am paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get me.:j

Disabled children aren't affected by the bedroom tax.

Thanks to a judge, no thanks to the Tories who originally included them in the policy.

But how many of those tax payers are so disabled that they need direct payments? If you have direct payments, you don't see the money and you certainly can't spend it on whatever you want.

I know many older people who have lost all their central vision and now have just some peripheral vision. This is due to macular disease and most of them are too old for DLA. So nothing to help get them out of the house and just the radio or audio books. Still they are old so don't matter, especially if heaven forbid they live in social housing and have a spare room. I heard of a lady who had to give up having the treatment to preserve her bit of sight because she couldn't afford the taxi fare the 10 miles to the hospital and back and had no one who could take her. Certainly they have no PA at £10 an hour to take them visiting or run their bath. One lady I know has a hurried carer come in for 15 minutes to put a dinner in the microwave for her.

Some people are much better looked after than others.

They can apply for Attendance Allowance (AA) and help from social services.

  • You can't argue with stupidity.

this isnt about "stupidity" or politics, its about basic decency.

You also cant argue with sociopaths either... You know, those who have zero empathy for other humans and have contempt for those they deem beneath them...

    Storage of medical equipment.

That implies caring needs. But also they can store in a living room.

End of the day there is no data. They sadly decided to implement without a real impact report. So all we do is guess. No one knows if 66% need a room or 1% because they never asked. No one thought to ask to do an informed impact.

And what if there's no room in the living room? There's a few pieces of equipment I would benefit from having. There's no room for me to store them in either my bedroom or the living room. So, where would I store them?

You need to get a life instead of
Insults. Inform the NHS and get us all on sick leave. I could do with time off diagnosed on a forum by someone unqualified.

You get DLA - hence my point.
