Shop from this morning, NOT happy as the toothpaste is showing as n/a even though Tesco stock all three types and they're on BOGOF. Is there any point emailing them or shall I just return the toothpaste and rebuy at T's?
2 x Oral B Pro Expert Premium Gum Protection (75ml)£6.00N/A
1 x Oral B Pro-Expert Enamel Shield Toothpaste (75ml)£2.00N/A
1 x Oral B Pro-Expert Sensitive & Gentle Whitening Too...£2.00N/A
6 x Heinz Spaghetti Hoops in Tomato Sauce (400g)£3.60£3.00
1 x Philadelphia Simply Stir Garlic & Herb Cooking Sau...£1.50£1.00
I wouldn't kick up a stink
Presumably it's a "BOGOF (cheapest item free) deal"
APG only recognises "BOGOF (every item is the same price and can't be mistaken for a pot of ambrosia) deal"
That's been the case and in the T&Cs (though worded differently
) for a while Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Izzy just wanted to say take it slowly and don't try and do too much little steps at a time and hope you are okay this week:T x0

My mother, 99, has been in a brilliant nursing home for the past 7 yrs. She pays about £800 a week but her money is tied up in her bungalow which we couldn't sell at the time. It's been let out now for 5 yrs. The local council pay the shortfall from her income, about £1600 a month & when she passes on the property will have to be sold & the money paid back. It's called a deffered (I think) payment system. It's interest free until 90 days after my mother's passing. Then they start to charge interest on what's owing but only a reasonable rate, nothing exhorbitant. It's very good as the income from the rent is far more than the interest would be if the capital from the bungalow was invested.
I think this is the best way of doing things if your local council has this scheme. My Dads house would have needed work doing to it to being it up to a rentable condition and when we did the figures it was not going to be feasible. As it was he lasted only another 2 years so we would have paid out more for refurbishing than would have gained.
But I will pass this info onto my daughter“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

When did you start your Prom savings fund? My eldest has had 2, one at the end of high school and one at the of college and it was not only the dress but also shoes, hairdressers, nails, make up, limo, photos - mind you this was 10 years ago so I expect that there are additional things now like spray tans, DVDs, 6 weeks of boot camp, dance lessons ....
My eldest lad just had a suit and they all went from his mates farm - he forgot his parade shoes so had to wear black trainers underneath
I don't think my youngest lad went at all - def not this idea of fun.
Never had prom in my day (thankfully
)
We had a school disco
where a few of us would raid our parents drinks cabinets  and we would make some unholy concoction, of which the main taste was cherry brandy :rotfl: 0 -
Morning all.
Big hug to scamps and logie xx
My parents many years ago had my sis n my name added to the deeds so if they had to go into a home they will only have to give 1/4 of the value of their bungalow.
Not sure if you can still do this tho. They did it through the solicitor and we both had to have checks done.
On another note I suspect the mr shoes 75% will b tomorrow. But im not sure if i can get there for 9am. I was wondering if you buy the items today and return tomorrow for refund then re buy. Or is this not the done thing mmmm what to do?0 -

I've worked it out and losing the APG I did get isn't worth it, my APG is £2 odd and I'd only save £2 odd by returning and purchasing from Ts, so once you factor in the petrol/time, it's not worth bothering :cool:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
