I think it did not compare because Tesco were different prices for different toothpastes, it was not b1g1f its b1gcof. nothing to stop you contacting them though.Shop from this morning, NOT happy as the toothpaste is showing as n/a even though Tesco stock all three types and they're on BOGOF. Is there any point emailing them or shall I just return the toothpaste and rebuy at T's?

....but my dd is really good at doing her nails and im good at doing hair.....im not a hairdresser but im a dab hand when it comes to putting hair up....got two friends that can do her make up but I need a cheap car hire as she would love her and her friends to go in a limo and then its the dress....im on a tight budget so needs to get looking for bargains !!!
Never done this myself as only got boys and they were quite simple to sort out, but a friend of mine had one made off EBay a couple of years ago, chose the design, sent off sizes etc and it was perfect, they did it well in advance so if there was a problem they could sort it out. I think it came from Hong Kong.0 -
Good morning all! The sun is shining but it's cold out there!
Hoping Logie & Scamps feel better soon. Wishing you all a good day.

I think that if an elderly relative goes into care/home, they can go back and check banks up to 7 years. If your relative adds your name to the deeds/gives large amount of cash within that time, then it can still be considered part of their estate (and therefore can pay for their care). Bit of a minefield really.Morning all.
Big hug to scamps and logie xx
My parents many years ago had my sis n my name added to the deeds so if they had to go into a home they will only have to give 1/4 of the value of their bungalow.
Not sure if you can still do this tho. They did it through the solicitor and we both had to have checks done.
On another note I suspect the mr shoes 75% will b tomorrow. But im not sure if i can get there for 9am. I was wondering if you buy the items today and return tomorrow for refund then re buy. Or is this not the done thing mmmm what to do?Yes it's the £30 a week that I could never figure out - where did the government get this figure from. There are some very energetic 80 and 90 year olds that armed with their pensions, get their hair and nails done every week, go on outings and have pub lunches, go to tea dances, treat themselves to perfume, chocolate, make up etc so their personal spends are far than than £30 a week and then there is Christmas, Birthdays and other family occasions ...
(Thinking of what my mil in her 70s used to spend )
My gran used to ask mum to buy her makeup, fruit and flowers for her room, ladies bits and pieces, the odd charity shop books etc. It used to break my heart to hear her panicking about having no money for things when her "house money" was gone.. despite us all saying she never needed to worry, we would chip in etc. She was of the older generation that would rather scrimp and save so that her 4 children would get their inheritance. As it turns out, the government took a huge chunk of it for her care so it didn't make one iota of difference. And one of my dad's brothers got his measly share and promptly p7$$ed it up the wall:o Now that is a story and a half - my dad and his 3 brothers. Phew, "shameless" has nothing on dad's family :rotfl:Tiger
