    Morning peeps. :)

    Been up all night, watching films! I suffer from insomnia so I don't sleep much. I've had probably less than 10 hours sleep in the last week, 2 bottles of wine that a neighbour gave me didn't help either. :(

    Kadison, I look forward to meeting you some day. :)

    Spoke to my wifes niece last night and my wife thought that I had the wedding album, so it must have been the MIL that threw it out. Can I be punished for my thoughts?

    Scamps, if you could be punished for thoughts I am sure a lot of us on here would be punished for the thoughts we are having about your MIL and that **** woman

    Had some good news about my Grandma (her nursing home gave us 3 weeks notice that it was closing) :) Mum has got her a place at another care home :j It is more expensive at something crazy like £860 a week but looks nicer than the one she is in now :T It's purpose built and looks more like a hotel. I really hope she settles in. It's a big upheaval for a 91 year old.

    Sorry in advance I need to vent :o

    I'm feeling really stressed this morning. Two things;

    I've found out that my update week at work now incorporates two written exams :eek: Had an email to ask how I would get my pre course reading as it is assessed but not taught. No chance of winging it as lots of things will have changed since last May. Spent half of yesterday completing online modules that I'd planned to do as part of my phased return. I'm suspicious my return may end up being 'she's competent, we're busy, she can work as normal :eek:'

    Secondly, I've got a really sore shoulder this morning and it's unsettled me. I'm sure it's just a pulled muscle or I've slept funny but it is a very familiar pain that I had before my diagnosis. I've taken some painkillers and will try and ignore it and not read too much into it.

    That's great news about your grandma but OMG £860 per week :eek:

    No doubt your shoulder pain isn't cause for concern...but is it worth getting it checked out, just for piece of mind? :)

    I know, the price is crazy. She's has had to sell her bungalow so is paying it herself at the moment :eek:

    I'm due to have seen my haematologist last month but no appt has come through. I think I'll pop over to them after I've collected my pre course stuff and check I've not been forgotten.

    In the mean time, the test I'll do this evening to reassure myself is to have a drink... Alcohol makes lymphoma pain worse. If the pain is the same/better after a glass of wine then I will feel reassured

    Hi Logie

    been pleased to follow ur recovery and ur impending phased return to work, and obviously its depends on ur managers and hr team, but u have to feel ur fully supported so shout up,,,in ur role, u need to be eased back into a highly stressed and demanding job....i was supported on a phased return last year for different reasons and although it was scary and exhausting (physically and emotionally), after a while it feels like u've never been away but then u then something will trigger and it takes u right back...u can do it but it it will take time, and it sounds like ur colleagues are lovely and will support u

    if ur shoulder pain persists, see ur gp for some reassurance instead of worrying xx
