Hi kissjen - just catching up with you! Great to "see" you're out and about again! Agree with you about our wonderful NHS - Mr SA got fantastic treatment which would've cost him a small fortune in the US. A friend of mine has a cousin who emigrated to Australia with her family when she was a child. She didn't pay a penny into our tax or National Insurance system. However, as she got towards retirement age and started needing treatment for this, that and the other, she came back to live in the UK, is getting hospital treatment for free, a state pension and has been given a nice flat by the sea (down south!!!) and gets her rent paid. Very Very unfair!
Anyway off the soapbox now and my fingers and toes are crossed for good results for you on Monday!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Second infusions were today, got up just in time and drove myself there. Temp was too high so we used 3 thermometers til we got the right number
. No way was I being sanghai'd for a night. Fairly ran out the door when they finished :rotfl:
Ahhhhh I remember those days - my temp always spikes a couple of times a day & it was always fine when I left home & through the roof when I got to the hospital.
I remember going one day & my blood pressure being really high (I have low blood pressure!) and they were really worried - then they realised everyone's had been quite high and ..... it was down to a new faulty cuff :rotfl:
Take care KJ xxGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
