Sorry EH; not sure. Mum happened to be in the Netherlands when her cancer returned, so possibly it was recommended by her medical team there?

Robin, never heard of rice water...I shall give it a go. Meantime it's me and the ginger nuts and copious amounts of anti sickness meds.

Had first infusion yesterday and started the tablets. Felt hunky dory this morning even joked to my agent that I may go back to work...then I took chemo and 30 minutes later the buckets were back.

Still early days and I'm also on antibiotics as the Hickman site has infected so maybe I'll feel better when I come off those.

Waiting for night service now to give me an injection and then off to bed. Appointment at Maggies tomorrow to try and renew the DLA. As SB made dinner I still feel confident saying I'm still not great at preparing meals.
