Hiya KJ, sorry to hear you are feeling so rough and I hope either your body adjusts to the chemo assault and gives you a break, or they find something which will truly help you get through your treatment without feeling so bad. Cancer definitely does suck - and so does the treatment.
Really glad to hear your positivity regarding finances - it is amazing the difference a year can make when you set your mind to something. Sounds like you bestowed a blessing upon yourself.
Lots of love and healing wishes to you. xxCredit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0 -

Hello dear all.
Injections are now starting to work nicely when balanced with another tablet throughout the day. They do make me very snoozy for an hour or two so this is me typing based on opening the page when the nurse left at 9
On a wonderful note though my favourite nurse just appeared out of the blue and spend an hour just having a bleather. I'm incredibly lucky in the level of care I get. Noone is nasty or cruel but some are very efficient and in, hello, jab, out and others find time some days to stop for a while and check how everything is, I'm I worried, what can they do to help. How the poor people in the US think the NHS is some sort of Stalinist organisation beggars belief...I think it's the one of crowning glories of the UK.
...quickly stepping off soap box...
Going to get some clothes on after impromptu morning nap and take doggy out for a walk and maybe geocache. Weather is lovely here and a breathe of air would be good.
Fajitas tonight to try and use up my stockpile of green peppers (keep using the coloured ones in salads). SB loves these and can make them now too so double yahhhhh. :j:j
Also have to do paperwork that I keep avoiding...so guilt list is here.- Phone MacMillan re DLA renewal
- Car Tax due
- Electrician to be paid
- Gas Check to be paid
- Do wages cheques
- Chaser letter to tenant who's just had benefits stopped
- Check chemist for prescriptions
- Filing
- Diarise hospital appointments
- Peg injection
That lot should be done by COP Monday. CT scan that evening so be good to go to that with the paperwork and stuff somewhat updated.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Hello kissjenn! Snoozy and good nausea management and nurses who take time to be with you are wonderful! Walkies with doggy would be great too.
As for the guilt list - I recognise it has to be done in due course, but leave the guilt here, so it doesn't impede your walkies2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
