I have a feeling that Mooomin was in contact with KJ some time back. I know she lives in Scotland. Perhaps she would have a way of passing our good wishes on.

    Hello One and All.

    Sorry I've been AWOL.

I had a bit of a good idea combined with a hellish week.
    • I wanted to have a wee get together with some friends.
    • I wanted to spend time with people who are very kind to me and SB (without being at all morbid) while I'm still strong enough to organise and enjoy.
    • I wanted a practice run as SB is 21 in 2 months. He'd hate a "Party" party more than having his nails pulled so repeating last night plus a cake or two would be perfect.
    • I NEED SB to get to relax more with our friends. I am getting sicker so SB being able to feel comfortable with them in our house is very important thing.
    • BUT then my line got blocked and hospital made me go up 3 times last week. Latest appointment was 2pm yesterday so I was sick and miserable for most of the week.
    • However friends all rallied. I don't need to be anyone but me in front of these people and they now I get tired. And they helped me tidy up the bulk of it.

So I think I've an idea for SB's 21st pressie. I will share in a wee bit because you peeps are so creative and full of ideas I'd be dumb not to.

Elanatan - thank you so much for the card. I'm more than a tad chemo brain at the moment but I absolutely loved it.

No work done this week at all as I'd created a huge project plan to get us planned though for last night. I will do some planning for next weeks though.

And finally for the moment - judge me gently.

I bought a flipchart on tripod legs. Have wanted one for years and hosting pictionary was the flimsy excuse needed. Activity wise I need to be able to capture tasks, appointments, ideas for 21st etc and noting works like a flipchart and coloured pens. I think I may have a small fetish. :D

In my defense all the girls wanted to steal it and take it home as we're all flipchart and post-it-notes kinds of saddos :rotfl:

Hey, get you with your multi-coloured pens and multi-legged flip-chart - whoop! Gonna be some tasks, ideas, dreams, plans and timetables executed with that baby! :rotfl:

If you have a flip chart you have to draw a graph and a pie chart at least once on it. It's the law you know :)

Good to see you Jen, I hope that's then end of the extra hospital visits for a good while, there's nothing worse than a hospital when you're feeling ill is there!
