Masses. I feel totally fit and healthy. Chocolate cake for breakfast and tea at the moment is part of my post-birthday get fit regime. ;)

I've just realised that I can reach my target of 10 tomorrow which has motivated me. That means any AF days next week are bonus days. I'm pleased with that. I know we all have different attitudes to targets. Personally I find having a bottom line minimum for any month regardless of social functions or holidays suits me but I always aim to exceed it. What I never want to go back to is daily drinking.

Me too maman - I would rather have a moderate target that I know I can beat and can sustain over the long term.

That was extremely considerate of your OH to unwrap a chocolate bar and actually put it into your hand! :p

    Good morning everyone,

I'm afraid I can't claim last night as AF, the usual happens with me. I have a carp day, and my go to is a bottle. I won't bore you all with the details, but it involves a lying teenager, and unkind women different problem but same solution (when will I ever learn to take it on the chin!).
However, it is me too, tact and diplomacy aren't my forte and I am a terrible judge of the situation. I am one to say it how it is and I'm not two faced. This has approach has its problems, the upside being you tend to know exactly where you stand with me, the downside it is not always welcome.

The teenager issue is the real problem and my priority.

11/15 for me please Shaggy. :) This is also a treat-free day for me today, if anyone would like to join me? ...

I had some white wine with dinner last night, chucked some in the pan too so not sure how much, I think two mediumish glasses, wasn't drunk and am not hungover but still slept badly, d'oh! Think I am going to give up drinking wine at home altogether except on rare occasions.

I catch myself thing "except for xyz" but categorise that thinking as the devil on my left shoulder battling with the angel on the right shoulder.

13/25 AFDS for me so far. Still feeling unwell, which is not helped by emotional upsets.

I have realised that when people talk about shared values they don't realise that there are many facets to what constitutes "values". My DH very strongly values knowing what he will be having for dinner. I don't. I think it's a strange thing to be angry about. But then, I think he actively seeks things to be angry about. Sigh. And he won't accept an apology until he's ready... how am I supposed to know when he's ready? How long's a piece of string. Sigh.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
