Morning all. Some really interesting and thought provoking posts as always.
Had one glass of wine whilst out for lunch yesterday but stopped at that, and the rest of the weekend was AF as will today be, so that will be 3/20 for me please, Shaggy.

Scary, Dizzy. Buckets of *healing vibes* for you, and I hope they found the cause so they can make sure you don't go through that again.

I did share with DH tonight that I wouldn't have a drink because I couldn't stop at just one (I've never said it aloud to him before). He said he was surprised because he's used to me being able to stop eating sweets after just a couple, whereas he can't.

Interesting, Satchmo. Great that you've said it out loud and even better that your OH is treating what you're saying seriously. I can't stop after eating a few sweets either, and I would have thought the two self-indulgences are related, so I can see where he's coming from. But good on both of you - that sounds like a proper conversations about alcohol.

4/30 please, Shaggy. And yes, the relief is hard-earned but it's fabulous that there are people who can moderate.
    Better is good enough.

To make myself feel better that I haven't done an AFD in April yet, I will post early for tonight to get myself off the starting blocks 1/20 for me please Shaggy.

I'm OK with this as I didn't intend the weekend to be AF anyway, but I really must knuckle down now.
What goes around comes around.....I hope!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

It's always tougher when the month starts with a weekend!
